Excellent Rental in Punta Cana

Review submitted: September 4, 2011   Date of arrival: August 13, 2011

It was our first time in the Dominican Republic and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Reservations: Reserving the studio was quick and easy. No hassles. Customer

Service: Property Manager confirmed our reservation via email before we arrived making sure we had her contact information in case of emergency and making sure we arrived safely. We were greeted with a friendly smile and made to feel welcome immediately upon arrival. Thank you Eugenie for always making yourself available for us and making our time in Los Corales a memorable one.

Property & Location: Room is exactly as pictured with everything in perfect working order. Plenty of room for two people with excellent amenities far superior to the pricey all-inclusives. Nice refreshing pool just steps away. Also steps away from a market, pharmacy, pet care, restaurants (local and international), money exchange/atm, everything you could possibly need. Like the other reviews say, only an easy few minutes walk to the beautfiul white sand beach. The property was very peaceful at night. Never had a problem getting a good night's rest and always felt safe and secure. Do yourself a favor and skip the all-inclusive resorts. You simply cannot beat the value and experience here. This property is highly recommended and I will definitely stay here next time I am in Punta Cana. Thanks again Eugenie and Abdel!!!

Owners response: Thank you so much for choosing my studio for your stay in the Dominican Republic. I am so happy to read that you enjoyed your time and I hope to see you again. All the best.. Abdel

This is a cute studio apartment in a quiet and safe area that is close to everything you need and very well managed by the owner and the property manager who both offer excellent customer service. It shows exactly as advertised and the wifi enabled bakery, food store, pharmacy, clothing store, vet and a variety of restaurants are steps away, the beach is a short stroll. There is an ATM half a block away which charges $112 pesos per transaction, make sure you have lots of pesos because credit cards are not widely accepted at local businesses and if you use US dollars you will get your change back in pesos.

I've stayed at a few different places during my visits to Bavaro and this is my favourite. The condo and its grounds are clean and well maintained, the pool is beautiful. I will recommend this property to friends and family who want a quiet, stress-free affordable vacation with easy access to nightlife.

Thank you to Abdel and Eugenie for looking after all the details efficiently - I had a great time and will return again.

Recommended for: girls getaway, tourists without a car

Owners response: It was indeed a pleasure having you Tina. Thank you for taking the time and looking forward to seeing you again.
Warmest Regards,

Excellent, Great Service couldn't be more happy

Review submitted: April 19, 2011   Date of arrival: April 8, 2011

We booked our stay with not knowing a whole lot about the area and we were extremely happy with the apartment and the location!!! The ocean was closer than we expected (maybe a 5 min. walk or less!) There was a cool bar, a market, and a bakery with wi-fi access just down the stairs and across the common area. Awesome place to stay! We dont ever expect a lot from our room when we travel because we try to book inexpensive places but this place was great!

The Best Vacation EVER!!

Very Pleased Vacationer (Placerville, CA)
Review submitted: March 20, 2011   Date of arrival: March 1, 2011

From the moment we arrived, I knew this was going to be a lovely, much need "time out." Everything was as it was presented, and more!

We became oriented to the community very quickly and always felt safe, even if some things were a bit different from the USA. Bur really, isn't that part of why one travels? To experience cultural differences as well as similarities?

Everyone we crossed paths with seemed to be enjoying themselves. What's not to enjoy? We had lovely weather. The air and water were the perfect temperature.

We lacked for nothing and this was a very economical vacation. The biggest decision we had to make every day after our five minute walk to the beach was, "Should we go to the left, or the right, today?"

I spent a few mornings relaxing and swimming in the very clean pool in the El Dorado Complex. Everything we needed was right there: groceries, wi/fi cafe/bakery, restaurants, pharmacy, money exchange and numerous other stores and services were available.

There were several local beach front restaurants and bars that offered plenty of comfy lounge chairs and shade, as well as roped off areas to swim. We never felt pressured to continually buy food or beverages, but the staff was always very accommodating and greeted us with sincere gratitude upon our arrival.

The tropical climate suited us very well. I could go on and on, but well...you should just go and experience this delightful spot yourself!

The most difficult part of the trip was making the decision to actually get on the airplane to return home. **sigh**

From the moment we arrived at the airport, the driver was waiting for us. He was kind and efficient (as we were late and in a hurry because of our own planning). Eugenie was ready for our arrival and gave us a quick tour and was very pleasant and funny. The room was very clean with lots of clean linens and towels. Lots of amenities within the complex including a bakery, pharmacy, restaurant and very well kept pools. The beach was no more than 5 minutes away and was very well maintained also. The entire experience was enjoyable from start to finish. My friend and I will absolutely be returning to this same studio the next time we return to punta cana - within the next few months!

my stay at the Studio

I really had an excellent stay at the studio! was there for about 2 weeks in january and can't stop thinking it wasn't enough. first of all this studio is not so small as I imagined, very big lounge/very nice bathroom/great terrace and view.. really quiet and above all everything inside (all facilities) were OK.
downstairs: bakery, supermarket, bar, pharmacia,shops...security...plenty of people...and the beach/sea/restaurants...just a few minutes of great walk.....
for me - it has been really a great solution and also Owner/Management have been nice and helpful and present for any poss needs....- and comparing the location to price: I can say this is a good match! - Wish Everyone will have this opportunity, actually I'm working on going back!!

Way more fun than an

We thoroughly enjoyed our 9 day stay at the Eldorado condo near Bavaro Beach. The owner's contact person is courteous and helpful and the apartment is exactly as pictured on the Homeaway website, comfortable, compact, clean and safe. We spent most of our time outdoors on the spacious balcony.

The pool is nice and we usually had it to ourselves. There is a little supermarket with lots of European imported products as well as a fine selection of fresh meat and cheeses. There are several restaurants within walking distance, everything from seafood to middle-eastern fare.

Our favourite spot was the bakery downstairs from the apartment which sells lovely pastries, ready-made sandwiches and delicious coffee and espresso. The patio has wifi so you can join both locals and ex pats and travellers skyping loved ones back home in a multitude of languages.

The beach is only a few minutes away and we found a public beach between resorts where we slung our hammock between 2 palm trees. There are a few beach chairs but it's first come first served so better get there before lunch.

If you're not into the all-inclusive experience and don't mind being woken by a rooster in the early morning (we loved it!) then this is the place for you!
