The cabin was perfect! It sit off on its' own lot with neighbors a decent distance. Their is plenty of room for the young and old to run around. The spacious rooms and loft was even to much for our family of 7. Our girls loved the dinning area and the loft room was voted their favorite.
The kitchen cabinets were stocked with all the utensils you may need. The cabin was very clean and it just felt so welcoming. Betsy you do a great job! Charleen thank you again for opening up your cabin to our family. I have recommended this cabin to everyone I work with.
Their is so much to do, but the place we enjoyed the most was the fishing at Fool Hallow Lake. It had so many beautiful spots to choose from. The Game and Fish Department is just about 2 miles from the cabin and they were awesome with all our question about fishing and trails to walk. Last but not least all your shopping needs are only a 10-15 minute drive way.

Great cabin

We had a great time at this cabin. Great location. Was so great to have separate bedrooms for everyone. Everything was set up and very easy to use.
Will definately go again.

Carlene, our family had a wonderful time at Harmony Cabin! Our grandchildren had never seen the snow, so we spent as much time as possible playing in it. They had a blast!
Your cabin was well stocked and very clean. It had everything we needed to have a great weekend together.
Thank you so much for your friendly help and great communication.
We will be sure to come again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. WE found everything as described, all amenities were present and worked, close to town and fishing lakes. We could not have asked for more. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic getaway cabin. Kids had so much fun running around outside and loved sleeping upstairs in the loft!!! Cute cabin in a great area of town.The owner was super nice and easy to get in contact with.Would love to come stay again.

Our family had a wonderful week at Harmony Cabin! It was a definite plus to utilize the recreation center pool and play area! We also utilized the equestrian center! Everyone can't wait to go again!

This cabin was exactly what we wanted but more than we expected!! The pictures do not do it justice! It was perfect in every way! It was so clean and had everything we needed. The wrap around porch is perfect to sit out and enjoy the pines! Plus, Carlene is absolutely one of the nicest people I have ever worked with!! We can't wait to return this summer!!

After reading the previous review, I had to comment because we had a wonderful experience at Harmony Cabin! When we arrived, the cabin was clean, bathrooms were well maintained, and linens were fresh. Bedrooms are nice sized, especially the master. The previous comment is correct, there is a washer/ dryer in one of the bedrooms, but that was not a problem for us. That room is a little tight (more so for us because we put a pack and play in there as well), but we hardly spent any time in the rooms other than for sleeping. My youngest daughter slept in the bedroom with washer/ dryer and I know the heat was working. The entire cabin was nice and warm. We did run in, turn the heaters up, and then hit the grocery store to allow it to warm up, and it worked great. We did not use the fireplace. We couldn't quite figure it out, but that is no one's fault but our own because we did not call to ask for help or directions. We were warm enough with the heat! Our children loved the cozy loft that has one twin bed, a tv, a small toy shelf, and I believe a chair. The living area is spacious with 2 very comfortable chairs and a good size sofa. Our favorite aspect of the cabin was definitely the large wrap around porch and the good sized front yard, perfect for exploring for our children. We had nothing but great communication with the owners and are hoping to return again in the Spring!

I appreciate the response from this renter. Since I just started advertising on this venue there were no other reports to give the comments that I am used to receiving about Harmony Cabin. I have been advertising on a sister site since 2004 and if you wish you can drop me a line & I can give you the site so you can check for yourself.
Yes, we ask that you turn the heat down to about 45º -50º when you are leaving.(to help keep our cost low so that we can offer better rates)If there is more than a day or so between renters the cleaning lady (Betsy)also makes sure after she cleans to turn the heat down to about 48º. So yes it can be a little chilly when you arrive but if you turn the heat to 75º or so, it really does heat up rather quickly. You can also start a fire in the wood burning stove. That also helps, and papers, kindling & wood are provided right next to the stove for your convience. (instructions on the bulletin board).
We truly hope that the one disgrunteled renter does not deter you from trying Harmony Cabin. We have owned it since 2002 & it is our "vacation spot" & second home & we are Very proud of it.

Dirty and heat does not work in entire house.

We arrived very late at night with two infants. The heat did not work, we had to call the owner and after some troubleshooting we got part of the house to heat up. The third bedroom is actually a laundry room with a bed in it. That is the room that had no heat the entire time we stayed there. The owner did nothing about it. The house was extremely dirty. Dog hair all over the place, sheets and towels did not look like have been cleaned from the previous guests. We had to sweep and mop as soon as we got there, and take the dust off the counters. Blankets smelled bad too. Not sure when was the last time she washed them. We left this property cleaner than when we got there, but this lady decided to keep $74 of our deposit for things like "we did not take the trash bin out in the street", "we left the stove dirty", "we did not strip the beds of the sheets and put it in the laundry room", "left a few toys downstairs", etc... The only true thing on that list is that we did not strip the beds. Why am I paying the cleaning fee for? This lady should be paying me for leaving the house cleaner than we found it. Stay away from this property. You will regret it.

I am sorry this person was not happy. The reservation was made the same day they wished to arrive, because of the short notice I had to drive to their home 20 miles away to pick up the money. I took copies of the "Contract" as well as the "Cabin Info & Instruction" & "What to check before you leave "If you want your full deposit back. She indicated she didn't have time to read them. I explained the necessity of having her sign them & asked that she read them before she left. That way if she had any ?'s she could call. I gave her copies to take with her. I let her know that it might be kind of chilly when they arrived. The heat is only set at 45°when no one is there. She commented "No problem, we'll just leave the little ones in the car until it warms up" That's when I said the first thing they should do was to make a fire in the wood stove.
When her party arrived they did call saying that the heat was not working. I made a few suggestions: I also said they should make a fire (with logs & kindling provided in the home) until the place started to warm up. I said that the breaker may have tripped & where it was located & where the flashlight was. I apologized for the lack of heat. After some negativity on her part I called my son-in-law to call them just in case they didn't understand, so he did.
Some of her comments above:"The owner did nothing about it"(referring to the heat in the 1 room). She never called back to say that it still was a problem! Nothing was said about the home being "dirty" or having "dog hair" or "sheets & blankets appearing dirty or used & not cleaned" until she didn't get all of her deposit back. She never called to complain. That was the end of hearing from her except for her texting me "when would they get their deposit back"? I asked for her address & said I would get it in the mail in a couple of days. After hearing from my cleaning lady (who's been w/ me for 5+ yr)indicating all the things that were wrong with the property when they left & that she had to charge extra for,(because the normal 3 hr cleaning took 6 hrs), as well as the discovery of broken & missing items.I composed a note as to why I was with holding some of her deposit. I also sent her a copy of the SIGNED Paperwork with the items highlighted that indicated if she wished to receive all of her deposit back it would be necessary to make sure these items were done. She signed the paper.I have only withheld from 3 deposits in 9 yrs & this is 1st complaint in 9 yrs

The White Mtns of Arizona are a great place to escape the heat, relax and enfoy the out of doors. Flyfishing and golf are favorites. This home is perfect for guy trips, up to 4. Close to the White Mtn Apache lakes and streams as well as 4 excellent golf courses. The house is open and easily accomodates meals and socializing. The kitchen has everything you need. Pinetop and it's restaurants are also just 5 minutes away. The house is clean, well kept, and comfortable. We'll be back.

We wanted to thank you for opening your home to us. We recently stayed in your Pinetop Cabin for the 2004 Holiday Season and had a blast. We enjoyed a few falls Skiing as Sunrise Park to placing a couple of bets at the Hon-Dah Casino. But the best was the relaxing atmosphere of staying in your home. It truly felt like we were far away from the busy city life. We had a great time and we hope to visit your home again!
