We came to Venice for our wedding and Christmas. We were all very happy with the house and all it had to offer. Any questions were delt with by maintenance very quickly. Our only issue was sharing the bathroom between bedrooms, perhaps a few more locks would be of benefit. <br/>Overall we had a fantastic time!

Overall OK. Kitchen old and in need of renovation. Bad draining from kitchen sewer and shower/ bath in smaller bathroom. A bit dissapointed with the information: final instructions were sent to my mail the same day we travelled from Sweden and only a week prior to our arrival at the house which meant I didn't read it until I came home. Kitchenwear not optimal for 9 people, but we managed. Neighbourhood however was fantstic!

The property was in a great location. Our family of eight had plenty of room with the lay out of the house. The first day we had a minor problem with the dryer and Ken came within 15 minutes and fixed it. We would definately come back!

The location is great, just a couple blocks from beach and restaurants, but was very disappointed to have to call the person in charge for plumbing problems in both bathrooms. The house was clean, but thr shower curtain had probably used for a long time, because it was black covered in fungus. No matter how clean the house is, when you go ino the shower and see that, the sense of cleanliness disappears. Both problems were rapidly the next business day, monday (we arrived saturday), but for the money we paid I would have expected to have the property in great conditions.

The house was very comfortable. We had a total of 4 kids and they loved the extra bedroom in the converted garage! They thought it was super-cool to have their own space. The pool was a hit and they loved that as well. The slatted bathroom door took some<br/> getting used to but I would definitely rent with this company again.

the property manager kevin was awesome. the few minor issues we had were immidiatly taken care of.the place was beautiful.like paradice.loved the screened in crystsl clear pool.we enjoyed our stay so much i cried when i had to leave,the quaint town of venice was great to sprnd the afternoon shopping at the specialty stores and having lunch,we had a great time at sharkys,swimming,having dinner,seeing a live band.cant wait to come back next year.might not get the same house but will definatly go through vacation rental pros again.

We really enjoyed the house. I have two suggestions if I may. 1: Would be to replace the bathroom doors with actual doors, it is very difficult to have any privacy with louvered doors. And 2: to perhaps swap the king sized bed with the two queens in the extended garage bedroom to allow for more privacy in a "master" bedroom. As it is now, the "master" bedroom is a pass through to the rest of the house. <br/>Our water was also cut off during our stay, which was a little concerning. Turns out the city was doing some work and failed to notify the residents that our water would be off for a majority of one day. Nothing the property management could do about it, just an inconvenience.<br/>We will absolutely rent this house again!

We stayed with several other adults and kids, wish we would've known that to get to the 2 Queen bedroom where the other family with kids was staying, that you have to walk through the Master bedroom AND bathroom. They could use the outside door to get to their room but that was not great AND there was only a bifold, slatted door to that bathroom with no lock. The other bathroom also had that dumb door, doesn't feel very private. We'd stay there again only if we had just our kids in that back room. Also there are like 5 different cleaning instructions throughout the house, none of which matched what the property manager told us (roll up the linens on the bed). The pool was great and the location was good too.

House was very nice in a great location. Pool was excellent. The only drawback on the house is that the 4th bedroom where the kids slept was only accessible through the master bedroom on the inside, so there was a lot of traffic through the master bedroom with no privacy. An extra access door to the extra bedroom through the living room would be nice.

It was scary not knowing what you're getting into, renting a house out of state, but we found the house was very neat, clean, and very spacious. Completely satisfied with our stay. When we had problems with internet connections, the response we got from the manager was VERY prompt and helpful.

I grew up in Venice... pretty much the same on the island except for more people. The house is the perfect location for taking advantage of downtown shopping and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the pool. Short walk to Venice Ave for pizza, ice cream, newspaper, etc. Close to beach. Older kitchen and bathtub clogs up every time you take a shower. Would rent the house again.

Only thing I would fix is the sound the air conditioner unit makes when it cuts off. You can hear it from the inside and you may not be aware of this but is it very loud. The drains are a little sluggish and could stand to be snaked, but still loved the property, cleanliness, location, and ease of setting up our vacation here.

Actually I am glad I did not have to talk to the property manager since that usually means there is a problem. There was no can-opener and that was my biggest problem and so when I was making a dish and needed one I was frantic... but since that was my biggest problem I think I am quite lucky considering other rental horror stories I have heard. I have a radio show in KCity and would love to interview the owner to encourage families to travel to FL... didn't see any oil and the beaches were so nice. Please let me know if he is available for an interview. It would be on KCXL 1140AM and the new Talk FM 102.9. I base my show off my life and would love to encourage people to use this company.

We were celebrating my grandparents 80th birthday and relaxing as a family. The house was great, the location wonderful, and the pool was everyone's favorite place to hang. I was frustrated with signs that contradicted themselves, like one that said garbage pick-up was Sun and Wed and another that said Mon and Thurs. and one sign that said leave no more than one load of laundry and another that said leave no more than one load of laundry per room. I didn't feel that we should have had to do the laundry for each room, but other than that, it was fabulous. The rooms were clean, linens fresh, pool clean and warm, kitchen stocked very well! We can't wait to go back!

The pool is great and the house is just right for our group. hope to stay again next year. <br/> It would be helpful if there would be instructions on how to work the T.V. Which remote to use and what channel the T.V. should be on. <br/> The house was generally clean- it needs a good going over,windows,high spots need dusted, furniture cleaned behind, shutter doors need dusted. <br/> The air condtioner makes a loud noise when it shuts off.<br/> Will be in touch for next year.<br/> Mary Ann Hill

There are some issues and concerns that we want to share with you. The morning after we arrived, we realized that there was a leak in the second shower. As a result of the leak, the carpet leading to the bedroom with the two queen beds, was soaking wet. We immediately called Kevin to inform him of the plumbing issue and he told us that he had been aware of the problem. Kevin had the carpet cleaned for us and we agreed not to use that shower. Therefore, all of us had to use the one remaining shower/bathtub. We feel that it was gross negligence on the part of Vacation Rental Pros not to inform us of this major issue. Why were we not informed of a leaking shower before we arrived? When we rented the Bayshore house we did so knowing that we would have two showers available to us. This was a great inconvenience to our family. In addition, the fact that the carpet was wet and there was a possibility of mold put my grandchildren at risk for their safety and their health. We would request that you review the financial impact and refund us the <br/>appropriated value of this inconvenience.<br/>As for other issues: You need to reconsider the cleaning service that you employ. The floors were filthy, the blinds were very dusty and the carpets were not clean! The screens also had layers of dust; have they ever been washed? We had to ask Kevin to have the cleaning service return to clean the floors. We were embarrassed about the dirty floors and the dusty blinds. The louver door leading to the full bathroom was loaded with very grimy fingerprints. Even the artificial plants hadn't seen a dust cloth in a long time. We went around ourselves and tried to clean as best we could. In general, the house was not cleaned to our satisfaction.<br/>The pool operations were troublesome at times. The automatic settings were <br/>not so automatic. There was a power failure with the pool electrical system, causing the water temp to drastically fall. We were expecting a heated pool for our entir

We stayed at this 4 bedroom home in Venice to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday so it was really a bit of a family reunion. There was room for all 7 of us and it was great to hang out by the pool with some additional guests. We also found that we were close to the Beach, the downtown area and, to our favourite place - Sharkey's!

The house on Bayshore Drive is located in a very nice neighborhood. The house itself is neatly furnished and and with its four bedrooms and spacious living room it offers plenty of space. The service was perfect (e.g. high chairs and baby beds as a courtesy, additional cleaning-up upon request) and friendly. Our children loved to play in the pool and in the garden. The houses is quite close to the beaches making it possible even to walk there. We definitely can recommend a stay at this property.

The house was fine, but saying it's a 4 bdrm is a little misleading. One of the bedrooms only access is through the master bath/bedroom, or going outside to get to the living room area. It would be fine if you had 3/4 kids with parents but for all adults, it has no privacy. Also, louver doors on the main bath???? NO privacy what so ever. The kitchen windows would not open unless you had pliers to crank them open. It was clean and the pool was nice though.

shared bathroom and others bedroom (or outside) to get to the living room. But we made do. Also, you have conflicting requirements as far as laundry, trash, etc between the various posted signs in the house and my contract. I went with the contract, of course, but you should consider getting all of the "rules" consistent. Requiring renters of a big house to do all of the laundry but 2 loads is a bit much, too. Most has early morning flights so it was a challenge to do laundry in the morning.<br/><br/>Again, overall it was a good stay but for the above reasons I'd probably look for a different house next time we come back.<br/><br/>Thanks.

We had a total of 10 people stay at this house and all were very happy with our accomadations. We have already discussed staying at this house again next year. Besides the house being nice, the neighborhood was very plesant. It was a quiet and relaxing vacation. We also enjoyed the pool, there wasn't one day that it did not get used. This is the first time we as a family rented a home for our vacation, we always rented condos in the past. This was a great vacation. Thank you for everything...

The homes i have rented from Steve Milo over the years have been wonderful as this one was. They are clean, neat, tastefully decorated, in excellent locations, have perfectly stocked kitchens and bathrooms, and are all around wonderful homes you would feel comfortable to stay in or reccomend to your family and friends. I have stayed in three different homes and would reccomend any of them and Steve's company anytime.

A good sized property for our stay (5 adults and 1 child). The front garden approach to the property needs up grading as it looked scuffy, but inside the standard was good. Would recommend it.
