We have been vacationing in Newport Beach for over 20 years. This house was awesome. It was located very near the Ferry to Balboa Island. It has been a family tradition to visit Balboa Island when we vacation in Newport Beach. Another tradition is to go to Ruby's on the Pier. We had a fabulous time and I recommend this house due to location. The house was spacious and fit all of our needs.

Dishwasher and garage door broke within first couple days, but very responsive management so it was no problem. Add a table on balconey so you can sit out and eat. Needs screen in Mater bedroom on one window; makes a difference when its hot, some bedding covers should be cleaned. The portable fans in the house were dirty. All were minor issues; overall loved the location and house.

Our maintenance department has since checked on the dishwasher and garage door. They have ensured these were fixed and in working order. The biggest complaint I have about this rental is that appliances seem to breakdown frequently, which becomes annoying and not something I want to deal with on vacation. Specifically, why something isn't fixed before we arrive. It might be wise to inspect all electrical appliances and TV's between peoples stays. sc

Only reason we would not give our stay 5 stars is a few small items in the unit. We believe some of the appliances need upgrading, specifically the dishwasher and the gas stovetop. The gas BBQ has needed to be replaced for some years now. There are some windows that cannot be opened (MBR or one - again for many years) and it would be good to fix these for better airflow through the unit. Living room furniture is just about due to be replaced. Glad to see they put the new HD TV in the MBR.

THIS PLACE WAS PERFECT FOR US. IT HAD JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING YOU NEED WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. BIKE RENTALS, CONVENIENCE STORE, SHOPPING, RESTAURANTS, FUN ZONE FOR THE KIDS,BALBOA PIER, FISHING,BARS,.THERE WAS ONLY ONE TIME I NEEDED MY CAR TO GO ANYWHERE. IT IS A BIT OF A HIKE TO THE OCEAN BUT A BEAUTIFUL HIKE I MIGHT SAY! WAKING UP TO THE OCEAN EVERY MORNING, THERE IS NOTHING BETTER! THE MANAGEMENT,BURRWHITE WERE FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING. THEY MADE CHECKING IN AND OUT A BREEZE!!!
