Special Rental in Rosemary Beach (Gulf Side)

Review submitted: March 10, 2012   Date of arrival: March 3, 2012

This is a vert special rental in the heart of Rosemary Beach. The home is very comfortable and we really enjoyed the location, easy walk to the beach and close to Cocina Pool. We stayed there for the week of spring break in March and were thankful to have paid to have the pool heated - even though it was warm and sunny every day the pool needed to be warmed up. We loved everything about this house except the parking situation. Be prepared to just park on the street with your pass as parking is only allowed in front of the garage bay (not inside the bay) closest to the house which is near impossible unless you drive a Mini-Cooper. During our stay, the people renting the Carnite carriage house showed up with a Ford 150 long bed pick up truck! They couldn't have been nicer, but it forced us to park on the street all week which was a minor pain (although it wasn't high season, and if it had been it would have been challenging to park on the street cause it's so busy.) I could have fit my car next to the Ford 150, but then we'd have blocked the entrance to the house! So I'm not sure how this could ever get worked out better, especially for the people renting the big house as your paying much more money. With that exception, the house is amazing. We've rented Touchstone House over on N. Belize for the past five years which is also a terrific property but we really fell for Carnite and hope to come back next year. And we'll book early - this house seems to rent out quickly with good reason! We'd give it an A (woudl get an A+ were it not for the parking issue.)

Thanks for your positive review of the Carnrite House in Rosemary Beach. We are happy to hear that you had such a positive experience and we hope you are able to visit us again soon.

Parking is tight everywhere in Rosemary, there are a couple of public lots very close by that work as well.

Sunburst Beach Vacations manages 82+ homes along scenic HW 30-A, so please keep us in mind while planning your next trip to our area.

Thanks!

The weather was sunny and gorgeous during the day, cool at night...perfect fall weather! We loved hanging at the beach all day, then walking to lunch or dinner. The greens were great for the kids to play ball. We saw a dolphin family and played on an awesome sandbar each day. The house is perfect for our group. I especially loved the kitchen and decks. I advise anyone coming in the fall to have the pool heated; it was way too cold to enjoy.

The weather was fabulous. We visited with friends staying across the street, enjoyed dad/daughter crafts, rented bikes, went to the Red Bar & concerts in Seaside, went crab hunting and relaxed in paradise. Sugar Shack, Sugar Shack, Sugar Shack! Our second visit to the Carnrite House. What a wonderful place. Our 16th summer visit to Rosemary Beach/Seaside. It never gets old...take a deep breath and enjoy!

The weather was a little overcast at first, then beautiful. We saw a friendly shark, had beachtime, pooltime and went crab hunting. We love Rosemary more every summer. This is our 9th summer here & our 2nd stay in the Carnrite House. The house is great! Thanks for sharing!

The weather was perfect until our last day. We had engagement pictures taken with GwyneMarkphotography.com.
Sunburst is the best. We were here in October '09 & had to leave early due to a death in the family. They were wonderful in accommodating a 2nd trip.
