I would highly recommend staying at this condo and complex. It was as described by owner. They were very helpful in answering questions. They were available during our stay in case of emergency. Would stay at one of their vrbo's again. The complex itself was great for our family and friends. We each stayed in different vrbo's which provided us a great experience. We were able to get together at pool, beach, village yet have our own personal space..

Bahia was more than we could ever ask for. The rooms were spacious and most importantly clean. There were plenty of towels, and the bathrooms were spotless. All three bedrooms had an amazing view of the bay. The beach was only minutes away and the shuttle would pick you up, take you there, and bring you back, which was very convenient. Baytowne Wharf was only a short 3-4 minute walk, which provided great night life, restaurants, shopping, and also things for a family with children to do. I could see this condo working not only for young, single people but also for a family. I would highly recommend it if you are traveling to Destin.

Needed a bit more cleaning

My husband and I traveled with my daughter, her husband and their three young children. We were all concerned with the cleanliness of the unit and even wondered if the sheets and towels had been cleaned. My brother and his family stayed in another unit similar to the one we rented; however, the resort housekeeping staff took care of their unit. It was far cleaner than the unit we were in, and with three young children this was definitely a concern of ours. I'm not concerned with the sand on the floor, but when the kids feet turned black after walking on the tile and carpeting, one naturally becomes concerned.

Being a local owner and providing you our contact information in multiple correspondences with you prior to your stay - we would of loved to of heard from you during your stay to address your issues. The tile floors were just installed one week prior to your arrival and the cleaning service has recognized increased residue related to the new grout. Of course all of the linens are replaced with clean linens prior to each new guests arrival.
Again thank you for choosing Bahia 4322/4324 for your vacation stay. We are disappointed that we did not meet your expectations.

Our family of 6 adults and 1 child had plenty of room in this condo. The owners had given us tram
bracelets and other goodies on our arrival. The condo is well stocked and has a beautiful porch area
that looks over the bay. When we return to Destin we will definetely stay here again!

Stayed here with a group for the weekend. It was an absolutely great time! Condo was spacious with plenty of room and an excellent location. Enough room for to sleep 10 with everyone having their own privacy and not intruding on anyone. Less than 10 minute walk from tons of restaurants and places to go out. Beach is a short shuttle ride away, and everything else needed for a week at the beach is withing 5 minutes or on property (grocery store, shops, etc). Would absolutely repeat!

We really enjoyed our stay. The Condo was extremely clean and very comfortable. (plenty of room) Beautiful views overlooking the Bay from every room including the covered balcony, The Baytowne Villiage has great restaurants and shopping and is very family friendly. The Tennis and Golf facilities are top notch. We really look forward to our next stay at the Bahia.

We had a wonderful two months ( JAN - Feb 2013) in ths beatiful condo, Would highly recommend as the condo was very clean and well maintained. Communications with Miss Vicki (Owner) was excellent as she made us feel very welcome. The Village was a short stroll away and the food at Marlin Grill, Roberto's and Acme Oyster House was excellent. This was my first VRBO booking and I'll definitely be back. The property was exactly as pictured. Everything was very familiar as soon as we walked in. The owner provided solid directions/info in advance. The Baytown Wharf (shops, restaurants, pier, kids activities) is a short walk through the community and made for great daily entertainment. We were also a short drive from other attractions (gulf waterfront, outlet mall, movie theatre, etc.). And, the NYE fireworks were outstanding. We would absolutely stay again on our next trip to Destin.

We first visited this condo in March and we were so impressed with the size, location, view, privacy, access, and most of all, The Custmer Service that we came back for our anniversary. There is so much to do on the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort that you can park your car when you arrive and never have to use it until its time to go home. They offer rides to the beach and different parts of the resort, the Bahia is the closest building to the pool and jacuzzi area, and Baytowne Wharf is just walking distance from the condo. It is the most reasonable condo, in price, compared to other condos of its size that I have searched. If at all possible, I will be lodging at this unit everytime I take a trip to Destin, Fl!!!

Quiet, spacious, perfectly equipped

There were nine of us and we were not a bit crowded--heavenly. The decor is contemporary and spare--unusual for beach, but so tranquil--we loved it. We ate two meals in the condo each day ---never ran out of plates, mugs, glasses, utensils. That never happens--usually with a large group you have to run the dishwasher a three times a day, but this place is perfectly appointed. Love the washer and dryer in the condo. We took some gorgeous pictures of the kids off the spacious deck overlooking the water. The pool was wonderful--beautifully landscaped and we pretty much had it to ourselves. We had a lot of rain but nobody cared because Baytowne Wharf was such fun--shops, restaurants, concerts, fireworks, zipline, you name it. It is just a short (1-2 minute) walk down a pretty path to all the fun of Baytowne, but the condo itself was quiet. Parking was free and easy. (we had three cars, so it mattered!) Finally, this owner was thoughtful and accomodating--best VRBO experience ever! Thanks for a memorable trip.

Would Definitely Recommend this Beauty in the Bahia

Our family had an incredible trip to Destin in large part because of the beauty of our accommodations at the Bahia. The view from this luxury condo is fabulous…like a nature preserve. You wake up looking out onto the Bay and one morning we even saw two bald eagles fishing in the water below. There was plenty of room for my large family. This unit is VERY spacious. Luxury linens, luxury kitchen, luxury everything! And the fact that we were within walking distance to Baytowne Wharf made life even better. Plenty of delicious dining nearby (my favorite was Grin Go's Taco Bar) and fun activities for the kids every single night: a magic show, fireworks, zip-line, two ropes courses, a rock wall, an outdoor movie, and a concert! In a word, WOW! We will definitely be back. A big thank you to the owners who provided excellent service and communication. You all exceeded our expectations!

I had rented the unit from August 11th 2012 for one week. My daughter died suddenly and we have her l5 year with us unexpectedly. The schools in Memphis start August 13th instead of August 20th in Hot Springs where she is from. I notifed the management and they graciously not only cancelled my reservation but even refunded my security deposit. That is a wonderful company and we certainly will rent from this company again. they were most understanding. thank you all somuch! Sincerely, Fran theos, Memphis P.S. I could not get the Date of Arrival calendar to go beyond July so the check in date is wrong-should be August 11th.

We had an amazing stay. It was awesome to wake up each morning and watch dolphins in the bay while sipping coffee. Baytowne was great our kids absolutely loved movies in the park and all of the activities. We did lots of shopping and site seeing. The beach was a 5 minute car ride away and we spent everyday there. We had so much fun. The property owners accepted my phone calls while we were there and were always willing to answer questions. The accomidations were outstanding. There were 9 of us all together and we had more than enough room.
We will most certainly be back. Thanks again for everything.

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Baytowne Wharf. The Bahia is a great place to stay and our condo had a great view over looking the bay. It was nice to wake up and drink our coffee while viewing the bay. The condo was just what I expected from viewing the online photos and the amendities were great. We had a wonderful time in Destin. My wife and I comes a lot but this was the first time a lot of family came with us and we had a blast. The condo was excellent!!! Very roomy for big famillies and/or big group of people. Wonderful view of the bay from the third floor. Looking forward to renting the same room on my next visit. Mrs. Vicki is very helpful and making your stay here very comfortable with no stress. You don't have to take my word for it, just book it and see for yourself. I promise you will be very satisfied.
