This is a wonderful cabin, spacious, clean, and with everything you could possibly need for your vacation. The view is indeed incredible, high over Gatlinburg and surrounded by the Smokies.

I cannot say enough about this cabin!! Incredible View is exactly correct!! It is breathtaking!! Upon arrival, the cabin was so clean!! There was also a welcoming basket with snacks and a bottle of wine which gave such a personal touch!! Robin was so nice to work with and made this reservation extremely easy!! This cabin has everything and I mean everything!! We had such a relaxing time at this cabin!! We have stayed at many places and this by far is at the top of the list!! We would definitely recommmend this cabin!! We would absolutely return to this cabin!! The only bad thing was that we had to leave! Thank you Robin for making this vacation one to remember!!!

Review submitted: June 26, 2014   Date of arrival: June 14, 2014

We had a wonderful time at Incredible View ! 30 min. After arriving to the cabin we seen a bear with in an hour we seen four more. The cabin was everything I expected and more ! Robin and her family take great pride in their cabin and it's amazing! You could not ask for a better view and the peace and quite that surrounds it. We could not ask for more it was GREAT! Thank you so much for this opportunity to enjoy your wonderful cabin and there is no question about it we will be renting from you again. Everything in the cabin is beyond exceptional. :0)

Owners response: Kim,
Glad you all had a good time and enjoyed the cabin. I know most all of our guests are hoping to see a bear. Over the past two years, we have frequently had a mother and 3 cubs visit our cabin multiple times a day. I have posted at the cabin the park recommendations for SAFE viewing and keeping your distance. We are in their neighborhood, since the cabin borders the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on 3 sides. We'd love to host your family again, anytime. Just give us a call.

Beautiful Home in a Great Location!

Review submitted: June 21, 2014   Date of arrival: May 31, 2014

Everything about this place was great. The home is beautiful, the location is peaceful, and the views are truly incredible. The location allowed us to enjoy the serenity we were looking for while still providing easy access to the national park, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Everything about the booking, check-in, and check-out process was quick and easy. Home was clean and well maintained, would definitely stay here again!

Spectacular

Review submitted: April 17, 2014   Date of arrival: April 5, 2014

What a wonderful place to stay for a week. The view is one of the best ones in the area and we will be coming back again. The cabin was clean and Robin is so accommadating. All three decks offer an amazing view of the mountains and the town below. From the windows you have a 360 degree view for miles of the surrounding area. The furniture was comfortable and the pool table was a plus for my husband. The kitchen was spotless as were the bathrooms. This is the only cabin rental that supplied everything we needed. We have no complaints.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Owners response: The cabin views are wonderful. Our maintenance staff/cleaners try very hard to make the accommodations clean and comfortable. I think the "extra amenities" help make our guests stay a little "extra special". Look forward to having you again next year.

The most wonderful week....

Review submitted: March 28, 2014   Date of arrival: March 1, 2014

We had the most wonderful week staying at your beautiful cabin. There is so much to do in the area. We hiked and enjoyed the hot tub. In the evenings, we went on the Gatlinburg parkway for dinner. Both the parkway and the National Park are so close and any easy drive.

The cabin itself is gorgeous and really has all the accommodations you can think of or need. It was always nice to come back to the cabin and just sit on the deck and enjoy the quiet and beautiful mountain view off all of the decks.

Best vacation we have had in a long time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful mountain home with us. My only regret is that we had to leave on Saturday!

Owners response: I am so glad your family had such a good time and enjoyed the cabin. Hope to see you again next year

Well Appointed, Luxurious, Incredible Cabin

Review submitted: February 7, 2014   Date of arrival: February 1, 2014

6 of us (3 couples) stayed here for a week. We wanted someplace spacious and comfortable where we could relax and cook. We have stayed at a number of vacation rentals across the country so know they vary wildly in terms of how well maintained they are, how well appointed they are, whether they live up to the pictures, etc....An Incredible View exceeded our expectations on all these fronts! All three of the bedrooms were really nice, and beds comfortable. The entire property was incredibly clean, well maintained and well appointed. We found a welcome basket of goodies waiting for us when we checked in, as well as laundry detergent, plenty of supplies and a well stocked kitchen. Obviously you have to buy your own groceries, but unlike many other rentals, the kitchen had the basics (lots of spices, oil, butter, coffee, etc). It looked like one of our kitchens, which is rare in the rental world. Bob and Robin were very helpful and nice. They recommended hiking trails, things to do and favorite restaurants. We would stay here again without hesitation. Actually we would probably move in if they would let us. I highly recommend this cabin!

Recommended for: romantic getaway

Owners response: Sam,
I'm so glad you all enjoyed the cabin. It was an "extra treat" getting a couple inches of snow and exploring the beauty of the National Park in winter. Come back and see us again, we'd love to have you.

The Best Christmas!

Review submitted: December 31, 2013   Date of arrival: December 22, 2013

Everything was wonderful, great accommodations! The views are spectacular! We enjoyed the hot tub, playing pool and the selection of movies. The kitchen was nicely stocked, spices too! The drive up the mountain was an adventure. We enjoyed Gatlinburg and ice skating at Ober Gatlinburg. The Christmas tree was beautifully decorated, made for great Christmas pictures! Definitely would stay again and recommend.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Owners response: I am so happy your family enjoyed the cabin for Christmas. A special "gift" getting a snow on Christmas Eve that remained for your entire stay (even though Gatlinburg didn't get any). An added bonus for the drive up the mountain to the top, which is why we love this cabin so much!

Our family stayed in this cabin for a pre-Christmas vacation. The cabin was beautiful!! The attention to the small details made us feel that we were staying in a 5-star resort. The views from the three balconies were incredible. It was a full moon and the lights in Gatlinburg at night made it picture perfect, The Christmas decorations were wonderful. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

A second honeymoon

Review submitted: December 18, 2013   Date of arrival: November 30, 2013

My wife and I were married in May of 2013, the 2nd day of our trip I got sick and had to fly back. We needed a make up honeymoon. An incredible view is what we needed. Amazing view, the house was immaculate, the hot tub, jacuzzi tub, were perfect. The owner even gave us snacks, bottled water, and soft drinks. We saw a bear from the hot tub our second night there. The house was decorated for Christmas, the lights came on every night at sunset and shut off automatically, the mantle was decorated as well and the fire place made it seem like we were in a fantasy.
We spent our time enjoying the cabin, skiing, looking at the stores in downtown gatlinburg just a few minutes away. It was paradise, we are already planning our next trip. Thank you for letting us stay in your home. I would not call it a rental because it felt like home. I recommend this home to anyone going to Gatlinburg.

Owners response: Lowell and Barbara,
I am SO glad everything on your second honeymoon was wonderful (after the story with your original honeymoon) and that I had even a small part in it. We welcome you again with open arms and would enjoy sharing our vacation home with you both.

Just a Fabulous Vacation

Review submitted: November 6, 2013   Date of arrival: October 1, 2013

My husband and I enjoyed our time at An Incredible View. The cabin is exactly what we needed, beautifully decorated, clean as can be, totally furnished, even with extra amenities we had expected. As the other reviewers have said, the view was sensational. We saw bears every day at the cabin, usually in the late morning. The location can't be beat, just back down Ski Mountain Road and you are at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I would definitely recommend this cabin to friends, I already have since we have been home. The cabin books up fast -- so don't miss a chance to stay at a FABULOUS place! We will be staying there again next year

Owners response: Hi Bob,
So glad you and Sue enjoyed the cabin and view. Thanks for recommending our cabin to your friends. We always appreciated our returning guests.

Awesome

Review submitted: November 3, 2013   Date of arrival: August 3, 2013

This was our second trip to Gatlinburg and our best trip ever. We have two kids. Age 20 and 18 . This was the best rental we have ever had. This cabin was amazing. The kids loved having there own room and there own bathrooms and TV. We loved this too. They had there own quiet space.
The 3 decks with the views was amazing. We spent many hours sitting on them. We saw a bear every night between 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
We loved the pool table and the hot tub.
We hiked every morning so we used the hot tub every night.
The cabin had everything we needed... When we arrived there was a bottle of wine in the frig for us. There was also a basket of chip, snacks, and coffee on the table. The cabin was very, very clean.
Robin was awesome to work with. I had trouble with my computer and Robin handled it over the phone. Robin gave great info on drivng tips and where to eat. She had made a welcome packet which was great.
We will be returning and staying here again.

Incredible Review - Incredible Vacation

Review submitted: September 30, 2013   Date of arrival: September 21, 2013

This was our first time staying in the Gatlinburg/Smokey Mountains area. The cabin was all it was described to be and more. My husband and I were vacationing with our two adult daughters and future son-in-law and the accommodations were perfect. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was very clean, well maintained and absolutely beautiful. It really had the feeling of home. The views, especially from the Master Bedroom were AMAZING! The hot tub felt great after spending a day hiking in the mountains. The owners thought of everything when it comes to hospitality.

Although we didn't spend much time in downtown Gatlinburg it was close enough if you wanted to spend time there and yet far enough from the traffic and tourist attractions to feel like you were really away from it all. The area truly has something for everyone. We spent most of our time out enjoying the parks, hiking trails and nature. We hiked nearly every day and went white water rafting in Hartford. Zach, our guide made for a very fun trip down the river. Rainbow Falls and Alum Cave were our favorite trails, Laurel Falls is a very easy hike and very nice too but much more crowded than the other places we hiked. Cades Cove is also beautiful and a must see. Be sure to stop at the Sugarlands Visitor Center. They had good hiking trail maps, brochures and lots of information on different hiking and outdoor activities. We did have one day of rain and so we did spend sometime downtown and at the Aquarium which was really nice.

We were lucky enough to see two bears while we were there; one as we were driving to Cades Cove and the other came to visit as we were loading our car to leave. Truly a highlight!

I would not hesitate to recommend this cabin to friends/family.

Incredible Vacation at Incredible View Cabin

Review submitted: September 7, 2013   Date of arrival: August 31, 2013

In a word - WOW! This vacation home certainly does live up to it's name. The minute you walk in you are amazed at the view in the living room - and then up the staircase in the master bedroom---the view is even more amazing! Not sure which was my favorite - the sunrise in the mornings or the sunset in the evenings! Both were extraordinarily beautiful! The house is also well stocked with lots of extras - snacks, bottled water, and soft drinks which was nice to have available when we first arrived. We spent most of our time hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The entrance to the park is conveniently located down at the bottom of Ski Mountain Rd. This park is really beautiful with lots of hiking trails to waterfalls and streams, and we were even lucky enough to see a black bear at Cades Cove on our last day! Thanks, Robin, for letting us have the opportunity to spend a fantastic week at your amazing cabin! We didn't want to leave!!

Abolutely Beautiful

Review submitted: July 3, 2013   Date of arrival: April 15, 2013

My husband and I stayed at this cabin and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owner, Robin, had done a great job making sure the cabin is in perfect, clean condition. Everything was top notch from the high end linens - all of the "extra special touch" amenities she provides - to the individual attention she gives to make sure you have a wonderful vacation.

The views were astounding, especially in the Master Bedroom. You can lay in your bed and watch the morning sunrise and then at night see the night lights in the city of Gatlinburg -- AWESOME!!

We saw bears off of our deck several times, while we were having our morning coffee. The hot tub and washer/dryer were a nice feature we hadn't had before.

I don't know when we will be back to Gatlinburg, but I wouldn't stay anyplace else than "An Incredible View" cabin.

Beautiful place and cabin! The description and pictures were very accurate. The property was very clean!! Owners are very nice and helpful and provided great customer service. This is a must-stay for those who want a quality vacation, beautiful surroundings and excellent cabin with amenities. If there was any negative it's the drive up the mountain, but it's definitely worth it!! Book early though because this place fills fast!

We saw bears, bears and more bears.

Review submitted: June 26, 2013   Date of arrival: June 15, 2013

Within the first 10 minutes of arriving at the incredible view cable we saw a bear. We had 4 sightings of bear while there. We got to see a mama bear with 2 cubs. The cubs climbed the tree while the mama just hung out below. The day we were leaving we were packing the car and the mama and cubs came back. The mama ended up climbing on top of my vehicle and going through our cargo carrier. It sure was a sight to see. All that being said the cabin was wonderful. We had 6 in the house and had more than enough room. The kitchen was stocked with most cooking items you would need. The only thing missing was a muffin tin. I liked the idea that they stocked the basic essentials such as ketchup, mustard, pickles, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and other odds and ends you would never completely use or want to bring home. It was clean and the beds were awesome. The sunrise in the morning is absolutely breathtaking. I loved the idea we didn't have to have a key to the place, it had a code you put in the door to unlock. The washer and drier was large so you didn't have to spend your vacation doing laundry. The drive up the mountain wasn't bad but you were way up there. They had a book with all sorts of information from the electronics in the cabin to the attractions around town. We didn't have any complaints about the place. We would definitely rent this place again if we go back to Gatlinburg, TN.

Owners response: Jtrip,
I'm glad your family enjoyed the cabin and hope to have you back for a return visit next year. Your review highlighted our close proximity to the National Park and the possibility of seeing native black bears. I am glad you followed our rules at the cabin as well as the mandates of the Park Rangers to keep a safe distance, do not approach and do not feed the bears, for your safety as well as their protection
PS There was a muffin pan at the cabin it must have been misplaced. Thanks for the heads up, I will bring another on my next trip

Beautiful views of the moutains & bears!

Review submitted: June 10, 2013   Date of arrival: May 11, 2013

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home! The house had absolutely beautiful views of the mountains & the city of Gatlinburg. The house was clean, well-maintained, and was a perfect fit for our family of four plus grandparents. We are very clean and particular people and the house exceeded our high standard! The house was as described and we enjoyed the welcome basket and drinks in the fridge. The drive to the house was a bit of an adventure up the mountain, but easy after driving a few times. To the delight of our children, we saw bears from a safe distance outside the home on 4 separate occasions (mostly in the early evening). We spent most of the time in the National Park, and looked forward to returning to this home in the evening. I would highly recommend this house without any reservation to families for a relaxing vacation!

Cades Cove, The Biltmore, Cashiers, and Highlands. We hiked trails, saw numerous
waterfalls and flora and fauna. Would love to return in the Fall with family
for the foliage.

Gorgeous views of the mountains and Gatlinburg from every window and there are plenty of them. Getting up to the cabin could be a challenge for some, but worth it when you arrive. My mom always told me...if it's too easy to achieve, then it's probably not worth it. The owners take good care of their cabin and we had a nice relaxing time. It's very quiet up there, that's what I was looking for. I was hoping the weather was going to be a little warmer...but it is March. I would stay at this cabin again & again.

Perfect Cabin

Review submitted: December 23, 2012   Date of arrival: December 10, 2012

Very nice cabin with a great view in a private setting. Perfect for viewing the Geminid meteor shower while soaking in the hot tub.

Master bed was very comfortable. The gift basket and complimentary bath items were an unexpected surprise, especially the toothpaste as we had forgotten to pack our own.

The owner was great to work with. She was very accommodating and helped us book the cabin with only two days notice.

This is the nicest cabin in Gatlinburg that we have stayed at, and we've stayed at quite a few. It will be our "go to" cabin the next time we stay in Gatlinburg.

Smoky Mountain Memories

Review submitted: December 2, 2012   Date of arrival: November 24, 2012

Celebrated our 5oth wedding anniversary in Gatlinburg! We had a wonderful week! Shopped the community arts & crafts loop. Took a stroll around town & shopped some more. Enjoyed the beauty of the park & took a short hike to the Greenbriar schoolhouse. There are many dining choices in the area to satisfy every palate.
When we weren't out & about we enjoyed the total peace & quiet of the cabin; perfect for relaxing. The views are truly panoramic & beautiful. The owners have supplied the well kept cabin with every possible need. When we arrived the house was decorated for the Christmas holidays. Every night the tree lights would come on & off automatically. We watched movies several nights! Took a few turns @ the pool table. The day we left we saw about a dozen turkeys whooping it up on the outskirts of the park near Townsend. We're thinking of returning next year to experience all that the Smoky National Park & Gatlinburg have to offer.

Amazing Cabin

Review submitted: November 20, 2012   Date of arrival: November 11, 2012

We looked online for weeks when we were choosing a cabin and felt like we hit the jackpot with this one. When we got to the cabin we were so excited! The pictures can't even begin to do it justice. It is so clean and in excellent condition. The view from all 3 decks is truely incredible... but the best part is that if you sleep in the master bedroom upstairs you can see that view from your bed! We had absolutely no complaints about this beautiful cabin and hope that we can get back to it next year! If you get the chance to stay here you definitely should!!!

Incredible View

Review submitted: November 15, 2012   Date of arrival: November 4, 2012

Had a great time at this cabin. Place was very clean. Robin had a lot of little idems in the bathrooms and bedrooms in case you forgot. Loved the mountain roads. Great views of Gatlinburg. Thought most of the color would be gone from the trees by the time we got there but it was still very colorful. Sun comes up over Clingmans Dome mountain in the morning. Would like to stay there next year. Hiked Greenbrier in the low elevation next to a streem in the morning. That afternoon was in deep snow at Clingmans Dome. What a contrast.

Owners response: Robert,
Glad you and your wife had such a great time (and great weather). We'd love to have you again next year.
Thanks

A family getaway

Review submitted: October 21, 2012   Date of arrival: October 8, 2012

We booked our fall family getaway as recommended by a friend. Our first experience was great. Enjoyed the cabin which was very well stocked with all needed kitchen supplies, toiletries, and amble linens. We highly enjoyed the view of downtown Gatlinburg and the space needle. The entrance to the cabin was easy in heavy traffic so we utilized the bypass when we could to get up the mountain. We had a unfortunate visit to the hospital but other than the reasoning the folks were pleasurable. We enjoyed activities such as parking at the Ober Gatlinburg and riding the tram, the aquarium, a train ride on the great smoky railroad, a visit to Knoxville to see Neylan Stadium, a drive thru the motor trail, a picnic in Cade's Cove, and shopping and dining in Pigeon Forge. We enjoyed making a big pot of chili and enjoying the views. We did try Volunteer pizza delivery when we didn't want to cook or get out on the town-highly recommend!

Spiraling staircase is interesting during the night with an infant but my toddler enjoyed them! Owners were very nice about welcoming us to there cabin and making us feel right at home by calling and checking in on us. We did see a bear on our last day. It was a small cub that ran out in front of our car while heading up the mountain to pack. We saw wild turkeys, elk, and lots of chipmunks.

Would rate 10 out of 10 overall . Only negative was the washer and dryer. While I was happy to have them they were not the standard efficiency needed with a potty training toddler and a sick infant. Boy did the febreze freshener that was complimentary come in handy! By the way, the check in was pleasurable to find a welcome basket, bottle of wine and lot of toiletries such as hand soap (some companies do not provide). Thank you again for opening your home to us and making us feel right at home. See you soon!

Owners response: Sorry to hear about the children's being sick on the trip and a needed hospital visit. The stackable washer/dryer does come in handy as needed. Hope to see you again on return visit.

WOW!!! This cabin is awesome!

Review submitted: October 9, 2012   Date of arrival: October 5, 2012

This cabin was so much more than I ever imagined. The place was great, the view was awesome and the owner made every effort to make this place feel like home. She even provided a welcome basket of goodies, along with personal items that may have been left at home on accident (shampoo, razors, body wash, Q-tips, etc.) The beds were some of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in (and that is saying alot because I stay at The Ritz frequently). The place was very relaxing, plenty of room, and it truly was like home away from home. The cabin is incredibly clean and looked as if it were brand new. Hot tub was perfect temp. and clean. I would highly reccommend staying here. You will not find a more perfect place for your next getaway. The only negative that I have was the road to the cabin, but you can expect that with an cabin in the mountains and the road traveled was well worth the view. We have been traveling to Gatlinburg for 10 years for family vacations with the kids and I have never stayed at a nicer place, although I have stayed at higher priced cabins!!! You simply can not go wrong with this cabin.

Beautiful Chalet

Review submitted: October 7, 2012   Date of arrival: September 22, 2012

My wife and I have stayed at more than 25 different chalets over the years and I have to say this is the nicest one yet. From the beautiful interior, to the comfortable furnishings to the spectacular view, this place is simply amazing. The night view of the lights of Gatlinburg is another added treat. We were visited by 3 bear cubs and their mother on several occasions as noted by previous visitors. The chalet was stocked with nearly everything you could possibly need including charcoal and lighter fluid and quite a lot of condiments and so forth in the fridge as well as a welcome bottle of wine. The sunrise over the mountains of Gatlinburg can be seen without leaving the bed of the master beadroom through the all glass walls. The chalet is the last unit on the road so there is never any traffic driving by. We both hope to come back again next year. Robin, the owner, was very nice and answered all our questions while we were booking the reservation and also was very quick to mail our security eposit back after our departure.

Highly recommended

Review submitted: September 18, 2012   Date of arrival: September 8, 2012

Very well located at Smoky Mountains National Park Sugarland entrance. Just a drive down the mountain from the cabin & you are right there. The cabin is located atop some steep mountain roads so keep this in mind but the views & quiet privacy are well worth the trip. The cabin is well appointed & accurately represented in the listing. Amenities & personal touches make this cabin your home away from home, you will never want to stay in a hotel again. One of the cleanest places I have ever stayed, beds very comfortable. Be prepared to wake early as the sunrises over the mountains each morning, you will look forward to it. Robin was very helpful & great to talk to about things to do in the area. We would love to stay again.

What a beautiful place to stay! Trip up to the cabin and back down to town is a bit tenuous but we planned all our activities ahead so we only made the round trip once a day. It was worth it to stay in this cabin--you will not be disappointed. Sunrises to die for. Thanks for the incredible experience.

A Great Time in a Treetop Mountain Beauty

Review submitted: August 23, 2012   Date of arrival: August 11, 2012

The pictures of this beautiful home, as good as they are, could not prepare us for the gorgeous place that awaited us on the top of this breathtaking mountaintop. We traveled with our grown children and their spouses for a week of fun and activities. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and spend quiet times as well a pool table, hot tub and wonderful open living, dining, kitchen space to spend fun-filled hours together. Robin, the owner, went way above what I've normally experienced in rental homes to make us feel like she cared that we were comfortable. The beds were all comfortable, linens were wonderful and the furniture was all comfortable. Toiletries were there in case we forgot anything and she even had a few treats in the kitchen for us!
The drive up takes a little getting used to but we all agreed that we would love to stay at "An Incredible View" again in a couple of years.
While there are plenty of shows and shopping in the area, we are an active group and there was plenty in the area to keep us busy. We did: tubing, white water rafting, ATVing, zip lining, hiking the Smokies and just to say we are a little cultured-we went to the Titanic Museum where 4 of us enjoyed ourselves:) A great trip - Thanks Robin for an awesome place!

The cabin was beautiful and properly named! Everything was more than expected upon our arrival. Very clean. Absolutely no problems. The visit from momma bear and her 3 cubs was spectacular! The girls enjoyed watching them from the deck. The drive to the cabin is an experience the first time you do it but gets much easier after a few times. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us and helping to make our vacation a GREAT one!! :)

She also has "the little things" we often forget! It was amazing to wake up to a beautiful sunrise and fall asleep to the lights of the city! We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub as well! Our Summer Vacation

Review submitted: July 11, 2012   Date of arrival: July 1, 2012

We arrived at the "Incredible View" cabin on the evening of July 1st. I cannot express in words our overall satisfaction with the cabin except that it was very clean, well appointed and beautiful! Even the photo's didn't do it justice! Everything that we needed was there for a fine, comfortable vacation. We couldn't have been happier! The first place we went to eat was "No Way Jose". We are very critical when it comes to food and "No Way Jose" was great. We also had dinner at "Bennets Bar B Cue" which was really good. Making our own breakfast in the cabin and grilling burgers and hotdogs was also great! There are many places to dine in Gatlinburg so you won't have a problem with that at all. Gatlinburg itself has many, many attractions for all kinds of entertainment tastes. The young or the old will have no problem for something to do. The main drag in Gatlinburg is always alive and full of activity! We visited a number of places while we were there but the most spactacular was being able to watch the fireworks display on July 4th from our three decks right at the cabin. It was the best fireworks display I had ever seen and no crowds. We visited "Cades Cove" which was full of history and a beautiful drive. For those with an interest for it, this year was the first time for a 4th of July Gatlinburg Parade that began on midnight going into July 4th. The last day we were there a mother Black bear and her cubs came right to our cabin as if to say "goodbye". Our grandchildren were especially excited with that! If you are a person looking for some adventure, beauty, places to to see, history, good food, attractions or just want to relax I would definitly recommend a stay at the "Incredible View" cabin. The owners were very helpful with any questions that would come up while we were there and made our "Summer Vacation" a dream come true and an adventure we will remember for the rest of our lives! Thank You so much!

Really Incredible

Review submitted: June 5, 2012   Date of arrival: May 27, 2012

The Incredible View cabin was fabulous. We arrived late afternoon on Sunday to a clean, spacious, home away from home. A gift basket with treats and a bottle of wine were a great touch. The master suite on the top floor had a very comfortable bed and a million dollar view. Our 3 kids had plenty of room in the suites on the lower floor. The pool table allowed plenty of time for camaraderie and we all enjoyed the hot tub after our days of hiking, white water rafting and Dollywood.

I would highly recommend Incredible View to anyone visiting the Gatlinburg area.

Glad the kids got to see so many bears in the area. Sounds like your family really enjoyed much of the Great Smoky Mountains area. Hope to see you again next year.

This cabin is aptly named!

Review submitted: May 16, 2012   Date of arrival: May 7, 2012

We spent a very quiet week at "An Incredible View." It was a very relaxing time at a very quiet home. The cabin was spotless, well-appointed with nice furniture, great kitchen, and a nice pool table and hot tub. Even though we had some issues with the hot tub, the owners were extremely responsive in getting it addressed. We felt comfy and "at home" the whole time.

The location is fantastic...once you come down the mountain from the cabin, you're in Gatlnburg and literally at the entrance to Smoky Mt. National Park. We loved this accessibility and convenience. The only downside is the very steep climb up to the cabin, but that's the price you pay for such a spectacular view and the peaceful setting of this home. And that view is worth it. We spent quite a lot of time out on the three balconies that look out over Gatlinburg and the mountains.

We really appreciated the little touches such as having the toiletries provided and the "welcome package" of drinks in the fridge! The broadband Internet was excellent. And the DVD collection was great...it came in handy on the rain days.

Overall...a great place to stay, fantastic location, and a truly incredible view.

Owners response: Bill,
I'm so glad your family was able to have a restful week at our home (and glad you were finally able to see a bear after some suggestions of places to go).

The hot tub circuit board going out was bad timing, but you were very nice about the down time.

Hope to see you all again in the future.

A Great Cabin for Our Smoky Mtn adventure

Review submitted: April 17, 2012   Date of arrival: April 3, 2012

The cabin "Incredible View" is amazing and was a wonderful home base for our Smoky Mtn adventure. The cabin itself is beautiful plus really does have a breathtaking view of Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. We found the cabin to be exactly as pictured and extrememly clean. Robin (owner) kept in touch with us throughout the rental process and had thoughtful welcome items (soda, water, coffee and a bottle of wine) waiting for us on arrival.
The cabin was perfect for our family of four (husband, wife, and teanage son and daughter) Each teenager had his/her own room and bathroom. The master bedroom (the whole third floor) was exquisite - the view of the sunrise was gorgeous! The kitchen was big and well equipped (we cooked breakfast everyday which was convenient).
The Smoky Mountain area is a good place for a vacation - you can explore the mountains (by car or on foot) as well as do the "tourist" stuff - Dollywood, zipline, shop, dine out.
As Robin will tell you the way to the cabin may be steep but that was just part of the adventure!

Thank you leaving the cabin spotless and your nice comments in our guest book. We would enjoy having you as guests again.

We've tried the rest, this is the BEST!

Review submitted: April 17, 2012   Date of arrival: March 1, 2012

My family has been going to Gatlinburg for the past six years. We have stayed in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but prefer the Gatlinburg location best, because of its proximity to Nat'l Park, attractions and things we like to do. The last few cabins we've rented have had no privacy at all (right next to each other). That wasn't the case since this cabin is on a dead-end street, no cars going by and nice (but small) driveway for parking. I like that Robin takes the time to speak directly with all guests before they rent to answer all questions and make sure that her cabin is a good fit for you. The location is great, with plenty of privacy and THE VIEW -- Wowee super! The cabin was exactly as pictured, clean as a pin and just very nice home to stay in. We like it very much and will try to rent again next time

Owners response: Doug and Susan,

Thanks for your nice comments and hope to see you again next year.

You won't be disappointed

Review submitted: April 10, 2012   Date of arrival: March 29, 2012

We decided to get away for a few days and were very fortunate to come across this cabin listing. We have 4 children (ages 10 - 8 months) and they loved their time here as well. My wife and I stayed in bedroom on the top floor and were surrounded by an amazing view of the smokies (the top floor has glass on 3 sides). The room faces east so we were able to enjoy beautiful sun rises each morning from our deck. We grilled out 3 of the 4 nights there so if you intend to do the same, bring charcoal.
The 1st time you drive up the mountain to the cabin you might be a little overwhelmed by the steepness and turns of the roads, but after a couple of times of driving, you will adjust quickly.

I'm glad your family enjoyed Gatlinburg and the cabin so much! Having a phone call with each guest prior to booking gives a heads up to what you might need to bring with you. Lighter fluid, matches and grilling tools are furnished, but we never can seem to keep charcoal in stock. Hope to see you all again on a return visit

Absolutely the best view in the Smokies!

Review submitted: April 4, 2012   Date of arrival: March 9, 2012

You get two views for the price of one. Downtown Gatlinburg with the beauty of its night lights, and the incredible mountains and amazing sunrise right out of your front window that illuminates the entire cabin. As a bonus, you can actually even see the far off lights of the city of Pigeon Forge! The cabin is beautifully decorated and comfortable (Has the best bath towels ever!), with activities the whole family can enjoy. Would definitely like to stay at this cabin again!

Cozy, Breathtaking and Memories Galore

Review submitted: March 30, 2012   Date of arrival: January 1, 2012

Tried something new for New Year's and glad we did. This cain is spectacular offering everything we needed from shampoo to very comfortable beds. We only needed to bring our food! The hot tub was used several times with an awesome view of the city of Gatlinburg during the fireworks show!

The only thing to mention was last five minutes of the drive, which was up a narrow mountain road, was tricky so we were fortunate it was not cold until the day we left! We will definitely be going back to this cain in the very near future! We had a blast! Thanks so Robin for allowing my family to meet at such an "Incredible" cabin!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with teenagers

Owners response: Kim, glad your family had such a good time for New Year's. I try to give all our guests a "heads up" about the drive to the cabin. It is pretty high up, but that's probably why it has totally unobstructed incredible views of the mountains and the city of Gatlinburg. Hope to see you again soon.

Couldn't have picked a better location with a fantastic view. Cabin was clean, comfortable up-to-date, well-equipped and welcoming. Can't think of any other Amenities I would have wished for. Enjoyed the hot tub and the feeling of warmth & ambience of the fireplace (it is gas). Since the weather was so warm, we stayed out on the balconies most evenings enjoying the "one in a million" views and spectacular lights of Gatlinburg. I highly recommend this cabin. You will not be disappointed.
