Our pre-civil war farm house nestled in the foothills of the white mountians in the lake region of western maine offers a unique get-away for leaf peepers, skiers, hikers, gem afficianados, hunters, snow mobilers, boaters and fishing enthusiasts.  Surrounded by lakes and ponds, state parks, and ski-areas, West Paris is a charming village of 1,000 folks and close to the Appalachain trail, Sunday River, Mt. Abrhams, Saddle Back, Black Mountain, Shawnee Peak as well as the Conways in NH.  A few miles down the road, a brand new casino (Oxford) has opened its doors. So, if you tire of nature, you can get some nightlife! We are less than an hour from Portland, and the Rangely Lakes region for interesting day-trips. We are three 1/2 hours from Boston. Our house has many orginal featuers such as tin ceiligns, pumpkin pine floors and an old barn that was once home to a working dairy farm. It sits on a beautiful parcel of wooded land along the Little Androscoggin River close by for swimming at our private beach, boating or fishing. We have a large  fifth room that we keep empty that can be used for air mattresses ( we have 2 queens and a twin handy), etc. for spill over.  A big enough property for a reunion, work or spiritual retreat.

We have a mud/laundry room equipped with a dog bath for grooming Rover.

$125 a night for any greater number than 2 (unless the third is a child under 3)
