beautiful 240 degree views of Lake Wateree (Open Lake Waterfront). Lake Wateree
is beautiful and quiet with very little boat traffic, however, it is a fisherman’s delight.

Perfect for the romantic getaway, or suited for family vacations.  Boats can be tied up at the dock, a jet-ski parking pad available by request.  The Marina is conveniently located nearby to launch your watercraft or to rent a pantoon.  Enjoy all the wonderful activities at Lake Wateree: hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, having a drink and watching the sunset from the 75 foot pier, roasting marshmallows, BBQ-ing on the deck, golfing, going to the horse races or shopping in Historic Camden, or just sitting on the porch reading a good book.  The flat, open yard allows for many activities with the kids.

Are you looking at a perfect place to enjoy a romantic weekend, family reunion, family vacation, fishing and bird viewing, Carolina football weekend, or office get-away in a beautiful home on Lake Wateree for 2 days, 3 days, a week or more? 

Use from 1 to 4 bedrooms (3 bedroom / 2 bathroom / 1 kitchen / 1 dining roomunit upstairs; 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / 1 kitchen unit downstairs). There is also plenty of room to add air mattresses for additional guests.  Try to bring along whatever you want to enjoy for the duration of the stay - you won't want to leave once you get settled in and the shopping choices in the immediate area only offer the basics.  You can reach restaurants and entertainment by water or by car.

Wake up to the perfect sunrise overlooking the water, and don’t miss the romantic sunsets (Lakeview is South Side) and the moonlight glistening off of the water.

There is much to do on the lake.  You may want to bring your (or a friend’s) boat/jet-ski and enjoy many fun hours on the lake.  Afternoon and evenings can be spent entertaining, floating in the water (3-5 feet in many places/ sandy ground) or just enjoying the lake view and its gorgeous sunsets on a screened in porch with sitting and eating areas.

The yard is perfect for entertaining, throwing the football, playing soccer, volley ball or a game of badminton. On an occasional rainy day kids and adults alike always enjoy a game of ping-pong, and a round of pool makes for good entertainment as well.  Or relax and read, while the kids play in the large flat front (lake side) yard horseshoes or volleyball.

The water level is perfect for children and adults alike. The depth at the edge of the yard is normally 3 feet. At the end of the dock it is around 4 feet. The water continues to gradually get deeper as you wade into the lake (up to 80 feet). There is a private 75 feet long boat dock that has plenty of room for boats and sunbathing. There are 2 ladders to get in and out of the water.

There is a large kitchen with plenty of cabinets and all modern appliances, but you would probably have more fun grilling outside on the deck looking at the lake.  The Master Bedroom, Living Room, and Kitchen all face the lake for maximum enjoyment. Enjoy the wonderful late afternoon breezes on a completely screened 60 feet long porch with a ceiling fan on the lake side. The screened porch with
the garden couches provides a great place to relax.

You are 40 min to Columbia, 20 min to Camden, or Ridgeway SC. You are one hour from Charlotte, NC. There are excellent churches of every denomination.  During the summer season you may like to
choose from 2 different water front services and take your boat or jet-ski to it.

There are antique shops in Historic Camden (20 min. by car). Golf and well known horse racing track. There are museums and historical sites as well.  You can have a diverse entertainment experience. The fine arts centers of the local communities have something almost every weekend. Camden also offers several culinary restaurants that can keep up with the best.  It makes for a great night out.
