Rock River Hideaway in Oregon

This property is located on the tranquil Rock River in Oregon, Illinois and is perfect for a couple or family to get away. Enjoy fishing from the large deck or while out on the water with your boat. There is a boat ramp available in town and one hundred feet of river frontage at the house for convenient docking and usage. The charcoal barbecue will come in handy when you want to keep an eye on your fishing pole while preparing a delicious meal. The nights can be spent feeling the warmth of the campfire while roasting marshmallows or your favorite treat!

There are two bedrooms each with two beds. The master bedroom has two new queen beds. They are supremely comfortable so that you will sleep like a baby! The second bedroom has two twin beds and there's a hide-a-bed in the living room for larger get-togethers. The kitchen is fully stocked with a large table for many vacationers to gather at. The living room has two full couches and a wood fireplace for winter use. Views of the river are also enjoyed from the bar in the sun room. Our friendly neighbors might give you a wave.

Explore nature on any of the hiking trails of the surrounding three state parks. You'll find many activities to interest you such as horseback riding, dinner cruises, golf, and swimming at nearby lakes! Ask us where to find the bald eagle's nest!  Bring your canoe, kayak, or other water sport toys. See the activities section for more information and ideas.

• The kitchen has the usual stove and refrigerator along with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and blender. 

• Satellite television. Internet at Wi-Fi locations in town.

• Dinnerware and cookware are provided for your convenience.

• There is an AM-FM stereo with CD player.

• There are two decks. One deck is right outside the door and the larger deck
  (10' x 30') is right on the river a few steps down. Watch the changing colors as the sun sets!

• Boat docking and fishing are only moments away!

• Bath, kitchen, and extra bed linens are are provided. A coin laundromat is available in town if your stay is extended.

• The charcoal grill, fire pit, lounge chairs, and tables are all outside awaiting you.

• If needed, the living room and master bedroom have window air conditioners. The breeze from the river is pleasant when you open the windows.

• Garbage is removed at the end of your stay.

Weekday = Sunday through Thursday
Weekend = Friday and Saturday

$100 refundable damage/excessive cleaning fee.
$50 non-refundable cleaning fee.

PayPal and Chase QuickPay are available.

50% of total Room Rate + Cleaning Fee + Security Deposit due at time of booking.
Full payment due 30 days prior to reservation date including the clearance of personal check.

Deposit is forfeited if cancellation is within 60 days of reservation date.
Total amount is forfeited if cancellation is within 30 days of reservation date.
