House is a 3400 sq foot log home sitting on more than 4 acres. This
home away from home sits atop a hill, overlooking wooded views of
Lake Norris in a secluded area of the lake. Stairs lead to a year-round deep
water cove with private 2-story dock w/sundeck - perfect for
swimming and fishing (few hundred feet east of mile marker 6).
Lounge around on the floating patio while looking out to main water
for breathtaking views and sunsets.

Nestled between the Cumberland and Smokey Mountains, Norris Lake
spans 800 miles of shoreline covering 34,000 acres. As the cleanest
lake in Tennessee, Lake Norris draws a regular crowd of nature
lovers, sportspersons and vacationers alike. Its blue-green waters
make haven for an abundance of year-round catch. A wide variety of
vacation attractions can be found in the surrounding areas of
Knoxville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Lake Norris at The Family Lake House. This cozy Lake House is a
simply elegant, newly crafted Log cabin with exposed log walls and
ceilings throughout. Vaulted ceilings house 4 bedrooms and 4 baths,
two large family rooms with wood burning fireplaces, and an open floor plan with
a spacious kitchen and dining room, all bathed in light by the
surrounding windows. The Lake House is perfect for accommodating
multiple families, as it comfortably sleeps 16.

Accommodations for 16 Friends and Family:
~ Main level master bedroom with queen bed and Jacuzzi bathtub and
separate shower - French doors leading out to deck
~ Upper level 2nd bedroom with one queen bed
~ Upper level 3rd bedroom with two sets of bunk beds that has twin
mattresses on top level and full mattresses on bottom level
~ Full bath upstairs accommodates 2nd and 3rd bedrooms
~ Lower level 4th bedroom has two full beds and a half bath
~ Lower level sleeper sofa

Room for Entertainment:
Two large family rooms each have satellite TV and a DVD and VCR
player. Downstairs family room also has a ping pong table, game table
and a sleeper sofa.

Modern Kitchen:
Fully equipped kitchen has new appliances including a large capacity
fridge w/icemaker & built-in water filtration system, dishwasher,
stove/oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Kitchen also has
cooking utensils, 12 place settings, glasses, pots & pans. Dining
table seats 6, outdoor patio table seats 6, table on bottom floor
seats 4 and pull-out table and chairs seat 4.

Central Air and Heat:
House remains cool in the summer and cozy in the winter with a top
of the line Trane Heating and Cooling unit. Two fireplaces add to
the ambiance on cool evenings. Plus, most rooms have large ceiling
fans.

Wrap-around Deck:
With over 1700 sq ft of decking, our large deck wraps around three sides of the house. Lounge on the hammock or the wooden swing. Grill your family's dinner and enjoy
nature while you dine on the patio table and chairs.

Lawn:
4+ Acres of gently rolling lawn and woods are perfect for outdoor
games and exploring. Hiking trail goes through yard and around surrounding areas. Firepit is perfect for evening smores.

Dock:
Your private dock will accommodate multiple boats. One covered boat slip
with ability to tie up multiple water craft on the sides. The 2nd
story sundeck allows for plenty of room for sunning, relaxing and
swimming in the deep water cove.  Ladder for swimming.

Local Marina:
Whitman Hollow Marina is a short few miles away. Boat rentals
available at Shanghai, Indian River, etc.

$1,800/week Saturday to Saturday or $250/night

Regular Season (September - May)
$200/night

Important Rate Information:
14.25% Tennessee state sales and use tax and $100 cleaning fee is
added to all rental rates.
$500 Advanced deposit, $300 refundable security deposit and signed
Rental Agreement holds your reservation.
Balance is due 60 days prior to check in.
