For those who prefer the privacy of a private vacation
residence, you'll enjoy this charming “Key West Style” cottage
overflowing with the olde Florida accents. The cottage features the
old Florida styled tin roof, tinted windows, ceiling fans, central
air/heat and off street parking. Located mid-island on Estero Island
and only a few feet from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, the cottage is
furnished casual island style and nestled among privately owned
homes - it is your home away from home.

INSIDE, in addition to a fully equipped kitchen, you’ll find
a washer and dryer, TV w/cable in the living room and kitchen, VCR,
DVD, CD/cassette stereo and board games.
All bed linens, bath towels and beach towels are provided.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and the guest bedroom a double.

OUTSIDE you’ll find a large private back yard with a 10 x 20
deck surrounded by an abundance of lush tropical vegetation complete
with outdoor furniture. Ground level is another patio set and a
propane BBQ grill.
Also provided in the rear shed are 4 beach sand chairs, 2
beach chairs, 2 umbrellas and 4 bicycles (2 male, 2 female) and a
wagon.
There is also an outdoor shower with hot/cold water.

A few steps from the Madison Cottage to Estero Boulevard,
you’ll reach our deeded beach access which is your invitation to
seven miles of beautiful white sandy beaches where you’ll enjoy
wonderful days of sunning and beautiful sunsets in the evening.
The beach is known as the "World's Safest Beach" because of the
shallow waters and wide shoreline that gently slopes into the Gulf.

A short drive, walk, or the Town Trolley, will take you to
the public fun pier known as Time Square for shopping, restaurants
and entertainment. Also available in this area is fishing off the
600' pier, or one can charter a boat and captain for a half or full
day at sea.

The "Big-M" gambling boat departs daily (11 a.m. and 6 p.m.)
from Tuesday-Sunday. Buffet meals are available.

There are over 65 golf courses all within an hours drive from
the beach.

Located just over the bridge to the south is Lover's Key, one
of the most beautiful nature preserves in the state.

Nearby, Fort Myers is host to the Thomas Edison Winter Home.
Mr. Edison's home laboratory is just as he left it 75 years ago and
directly across the street is the Henry Ford Estate. Both are
available for touring.

And, did you know that Fort Myers is the spring training home
for the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox?

To the north, beautiful Sanibel Island is just 25 minutes
away - the "Seashell Capital of the World".

To the south, Naples is nearby, where you may find the Naples
Zoo as well as a beautiful downtown area for shopping and dining.
