eye toward beauty and comfort with extra special touches to pamper
you.

The JOY CHALET feels like a warm, inviting home rather than a
vacation rental house. We are local owners who take exquisite care of our properties and are available anytime to see to your needs.  We make sure the home is exceptionally clean, well maintained and the hot tub sparkling with fresh water.

Location:
Our delightful cedar chalet is tucked away in a cluster of cottages
and adjoins 33 acres of woodlands right outside your back door. Watch
wild turkeys ander through your yard. This quiet woodlands
area is ideally located between Asheville and Hendersonville with
only 15 minutes to either downtown and just a bit further to Brevard.

Living Room:
A cheerful gas stone fireplace in a soaring 20 foot wall with a
lovely oil painting above greet you as you enter. The
luxurious, comfortable couches and rich marble tables are
quietly elegant and a perfect nest to watch your flat screen 37" HDTV
with simple-to-use built-in DVD. Choose from over 100 movies in our
video library or watch cable TV. Better yet, it is the ideal spot to
just peacefully sit and unwind in front of the fire.

Central air conditioning makes summers cool although seldom needed in
these Blue Ridge Mountains. Just past the living room is the eat-in
kitchen, pretty powder room and laundry area.

For the fun of it, we've provided a vintage 1948 Scrabble board with
100 wooden tiles, a 1961 Monopoly game, a 1974 Easy Money game plus
games such as chess, checkers, playing cards, Yahtzee, etc. In
addition, we have a small selection of enjoyable paperback novels.

King Bedroom Suite:
Your romantic upstairs bedroom suite features a magnificent tapestry
over a plush Simmons king-size bed, sumptuous high count cotton
sheets, butter-soft blankets & elegant comforter. Lay back in luxury
while you watch your flat screen TV with a simple-to-use built-in
DVD/VCR.

A handsome dresser, chest of drawers and walk-in closet offer plenty
of space for your clothes. And, best of all, an amazing Human Touch
Technology iJoy 250 Turbo Massage Chair will send you to heaven! It's
our favorite ultimate pleasure. A tasteful bathroom with a Jacuzzi
bathtub/shower and soft cotton towels complete the
master suite. Oh, don't you love to be spoiled!

Full Kitchen:
Your eat-in kitchen is thoughtfully & fully equipped with quality cookware! You have full-size appliances including refrigerator w/French doors & bottom freezer drawer, ceramic
cooktop with self-cleaning oven, dishwasher, microwave, and disposal. Enhance your meals by serving them on our festive hand-painted dinnerware, heavy glasses and quality silverware. You'll find sharp knives, a multitude of pots, pans, bake dishes, cookie sheets, cake pans, pizza pan, muffin pans, hand mixer, toaster, blender, waffle iron, crock pot, coffee maker and even a coffee grinder for your freshly brewed coffee. You'll find a selection of spices and a few other goodies as well.

There's also a full-size high efficiencywasher and dryer for your convenience.

Outside:
Step out your back door onto a wonderful screened, covered porch.
Relax there in privacy in an intimate two-person lounger spa hot tub
and view the woods and wildlife in your back yard. Drink a morning
cup of coffee in the deck chairs or venture out into the yard to
enjoy the two-person swing. Ah, the romance of it all!

are fantastic antique stores, numerous galleries, unique boutique
shops, & amazing hand-crafted goods, This region is host to numerous
festivals filled with music, dance, arts & crafts, There are family
events, concerts, cinemas and museums, For golfers, there are
numerous courses throughout the area. There is skiing, white water
rafting, you name it! Check out the new Fun Depot for a wealth of
indoor fun, Sightseeing along the Blue Ridge Parkway is outstanding
with many hiking trails & waterfalls along the way, These ancient
Appalachian Mountains is home to mountain music & dancing, Several
times a week you can test your dancing shoes at Contra Dancing with
live upbeat Celtic music.

We promise that you won't be bored! When you're tired after a
day's exploring, know that you can come home to a hot tub, massage
chair, and rest in your comfy king size bed! Just let us know when

$750 Off Season Week Rate: November through March (No discounts for holiday weeks)

Taxes: 11.75%

Minimum Stay 3 - 7 nights depending season & how far in advance a reservation is made.  Holidays have a minimum 7 night stay

VISA and Master Card accepted.

Dogs must be preapproved at time of reservation & owners agree to our
pet policies as listed on our website. Pet rent is $15/night or $75/week per dog.
