This gorgeous 4000 sf almost new custom home sits on 7 acres and is approx. 17 miles west of Pagosa Springs.  Only 4 miles from the turn off to Chimney Rock @ highway 160.  It is 1/2 mile off the highway and sits above the Piedra River with beautiful river, valley and mountain views.  The house sits inside the National Forest and provides snowmobiling right from the home up a Forest Service road to trails.  This is a great location for hunters, fisherman, etc. or if you wish to ski both Wolf Creek and Durango mountain Resort during your stay.

The main floor of the home has a huge gourmet kitchen, large dining room table that seats 10, beautiful open living room with floor to ceiling windows, a large master bedroom with on-suite bath and a king bed. An additional guest bedroom is on the main level with a queen bed. Also, a 1/2 bath/powder room is located off the main entry.  A loft with two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and another full bath as well as a desk set up in the loft area for ease of using your computer.  There is also a large family room in the basement with another full bath, two twin beds and a double bed. TV downstairs with a DVD player is also connected to satellite.  A table and chairs for playing cards or games is also located in the basement.

Satellite TV in living room with DVD player, so you can enjoy your favorite programs or DVD's on the 55" wall mounted television.  In-floor heating throughout.  In the summer, enjoy the beautiful full-length deck on the back of the house with remote awning and gas barbeque overlooking the river, pond, valley and mountains.

If you need to stay in touch while vacationing the home has Wi-Fi available.  This is a true mountain retreat.  This property is only 20 minutes from Pagosa Springs and 35 minutes to Durango or Navajo Lake.  Very convenient location to many recreational opportunities.

There are corrals there for those that would like to take their own horses on vacation with them.

There is a Refundable Deposit of $500.00 and a Cleaning Fee of $275.00.

Great Views!  Fantastic Hiking Trails, Four Wheeler trails, Snow Mobiling right from the front door, Horseback riding (bring your own horses or rent from the outfitter next door), Fishing in the Piedra River (Private/Secluded 1,000 feet of River Frontage), Navajo Lake is a short drive away for Boating, water Skiing, or Fishing. Lake Vallecito is a georgeous area for picnicing, fishing and hiking.

Easy day trips to Mesa Verde to tour the Anasazi Ruins (Spectacular Views and very interesting), Chama & Taos New Mexico (Rio Grande Gorge), Durango, Silverton, (Take the Narrow Guage Train from Durango to Silverton), Ouray, South Fork, Creede and Chimney Rock Archaelogic site.

Skiing in the High Country....Purgatory @ Durango Mountain Resort, Silverton Mountain, Telluride, Wolf Creek.  All an easy drive from Piedra River Retreat.
