vacation rental description
The stunning Brockway Lakeview Cabin offers the best of historic Tahoe charm and the luxury of a world-class resort area. Perched on a hillside above Kings Beach, the open and airy retreat boasts jaw-dropping views of the lake, a rustically romantic ambiance, and beautiful furnishings that will make you feel instantly at home.
The cabin's great room welcomes guests into a sun-filled space with exposed-beam ceilings, a stately gas fireplace, and leather seating perfect for curling up with a good book. Screen a DVD from our collection on the television, or simply relax with a glass of wine as you admire the blue waters of Lake Tahoe out the expansive windows. The adjacent kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need to prepare meals, and the outdoor deck has a charcoal grill for barbecues.
Walk through the French doors to the queen bedroom, with a sliding glass door leading onto a romantic lakeview patio. The full bathroom includes a charming claw foot tub with shower. Upstairs in the loft, a full-sized bed waits for extra guests, or those who'd rather not climb the ladder to the loft can sleep on the twin-sized leather sleeper chairs.
Located just on the California side of the state border, historic Brockway has been a resort destination since the nineteenth century. Nestled between Kings Beach to the west and Crystal Bay to the east, the cabin is within easy reach of conveniences such as grocery stores and laundromats, plus attractions such as historic sights, world-class spas, casinos, live music, and dining. And, of course, all the waterskiing, boating, and sunbathing Tahoe has to offer.
Please note that four-wheel drive or chains may be required in the winter.
