The Marietta House - NEWLY RENOVATED! SLEEPS 22! in Ohiopyle

Situated across from a large meadow the Marietta house is the perfect escape from the outside world! The Marietta House is a newly renovated 1920's farm house that accommodates 22 guests!! The house is located on scenic Route 381 and is just five minutes from Ohiopyle State Park. The home is filled with character and the surrounding scenery exemplifies the mystique and history of the Laurel Mountains. The property is bordered by vast farm fields lined with lush forest that is host to all of nature's colors throughout the four seasons in Ohiopyle. The home features a large wrap around and covered porch with a suspended swing, perfect for relaxing in the warm air any time of day. The eastern view from the porch is awe inspiring as you watch the sun begin the day, and as the moon illuminates the soft forms of the forest canopies and slopes of the surrounding mountains in the twilight.

For entertaining indoors, the main floor of the Marietta boasts a large, open living room featuring an oversize log burning fireplace. The living room is also host to a wide screen television and two futon couches. The main level also has a bedroom featuring a queen bed and full bathroom with an accessibility-enhanced, very large and roomy shower. The second floor has three bedrooms equipped with Queen Size beds and a large full bathroom with tub and shower combination. The completely remodeled top floor of the home offers a spacious loft with four queen and two twin beds.
The Marietta sits on such a beautiful landscape it is hard to believe it is just minutes from all of the best attractions that the Ohiopyle area offers. Ohiopyle State Park, Frank Lloyd Wright's Kentuck Knob, Christian W. Klay Winery, Fort Necessity National Battlefield and Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa are all within a ten minute drive. Just fifteen minutes away will find you at Frank Lloyd Wright's crowning architectural achievement, Fallingwater.
