Hodnett Cooper Vacation Rentals and Hodnett Cooper Premier are pleased to offer Shiphouse. Designed to resemble the hull of a ship, Shiphouse is an exquisite oceanfront residence on St. Simons Island.

From the outdoor staircase or private elevator, guests enter the residence and are greeted with stunning ocean views to the east and spacious bedrooms to the west. All three floors have the same floor plan, each with a kitchen, living area and four bedrooms. The living areas feature a space for dining, den and an open kitchen with gourmet appliances and island seating. The first floor has a partial kitchen, while the second and third floors feature full, gourmet kitchens. The living areas have 180-degree views and wraparound balconies for enjoying the view and ocean breeze.

Each of the twelve bedrooms has an en suite bath. The three masters are spacious with King beds and the en suites with a claw footed soaking tub. The "children's bedrooms" feature two sets of bunk beds.

The residence features hardwood floors throughout, detailed architectural finishes and beautiful furnishings.

Above the third floor is a rooftop deck that spans the entire footprint of the house. The deck is a wonderful gathering spot that features tables and chairs for al fresco dining, a grilling area with running water, and a sitting area to take in the Atlantic Ocean views. On the ground level, an oceanfront pool provides a refreshing spot to relax or cool off after a day on the beach.

During winter and shoulder seasons, the residence can be rented in three configurations: the four-bedroom penthouse; the eight-bedroom residence on floors one and two; and the entire twelve-bedroom residence. Both the rooftop deck and pool are shared with guests renting the other portion of the residence. During the summer months, Shiphouse requires a seven-night minimum stay with a Saturday-to-Saturday schedule only. Events that exceed the maximum occupancy are strictly prohibited. While this magnificent home is oceanfront, please note that beach access is tide contingent. At high tide, which occurs twice daily, the beach is mostly inaccessible. But, you won't likely miss the sand with oceanfront balconies, mesmerizing waves, ocean breezes and your own seaside pool.
