Lazy days and Balmy Nights

My stay at Sunset Villa provided an excellent start to my trip around South East Asia and I very much hope to get back there one day. The accommodation was excellent, spacious rooms with en suite, a large beautiful pool, tennis court and gym, you could easily spend all your time here and forget to leave! However the villa is very close to the stunning Jimbaran beach, an amazing stretch of sand with crashing waves where the sea food dinners are legendary.
I enjoyed several meals from the restaurants on the beach, and if you want to spend a bit more there are a couple of excellent 5* hotels as well.
The Villa is also very near the airport and the main town of Kuta. Although bustling, and a bit busy, Kuta is worth a look, especially if you want Bars and nightlife, and of course surfing which is great all over the island. However, Seminyak, just a bit further up, may provide a bit of a less frantic trip. Shopping, bars, restaurants, Seminyak has it all. A trip to Bali isn't complete without a visit to Ubud. A true gem of a place that is nestled among the paddy fields. Art, culture, great food and fab spa facilities make this a must, and none of it is too far away from the villa. Go to see some Balinese dancing.Visit a temple. Take a bike ride around the countryside and fields, do a batik class and some yoga and enjoy meeting the truly wonderful people of Bali. I would definitely recommend the Sunset Villa as a base and Andy and his family will make you feel very welcome and at home.

Staying at Sunset Villa was without a doubt one of the highlights of my entire life, i will never forget my time in there! First of all, the openness, generosity and warmth of Andy, Ayu and all their family, the incredible Villa located in a tranquil area, yet so close to amazing beaches and touristic spots; The family would help me and advice me on anything i needed, they really made me feel at home, safe and happy at all times; During my time in Bali i visited the entire island and made so many friends thanks to the Sunset Villa family ,i can simply say that this was the best time of my life and i hope one day i will be able to return to Sunset villa once more, very highly recommended! :)

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
