``Casa Amanecer`` is a short walk from the quaint fishing village of Celestun which is located in a biosphere on the Gulf Coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. It is considered a bird watcher's paradise, and is also known for the thousands of flamingos that reside there. Boat tours can be taken from the village to see the flamingos and the mangroves in the area. Celestun is also close to the many Mayan ruins, cenotes and the historic colonial city of Merida. The village has many fine seafood restaurants, markets. The house is situated on miles of unspoiled beach which is also the nesting ground for the giant sea turtles in the summer.
The main house contains two bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and one and a half bathrooms. Each bedroom has a large terrace with the master bedroom facing the ocean where you can listen to the waves or watch the amazing sunsets. The casita(which is at an additional cost) is seperate and situated off the pool area wiith a Queen bed and bathroom. Beautiful gardens including a coconut grove surround the house.
"Casa Amancer" is the perfect place to paint, write or just veg out.
