villa rental amenities
The Hilton Head Resort is a quiet but family-oriented resort located mid-island. It has many amenities, its best being its proximity to the ocean. Our boardwalk connects the resort property to one of the best beaches on the island. We have a free beach shuttle or it is about a five minute walk to the beach. Coco's on the Beach is an excellent resort-owned beach bar on the beach. The resort also offers a bar and deli within one of its buildings, as well as two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, a hot tub, workout room, indoor track, lighted tennis courts, a sundeck and small garden, and beautiful lagoons. Parking is free. There are coin-operated laundry rooms available.
activities and attractions in Hilton Head Island South Carolina
There is so much to do in Hilton Head, from relaxing spa visits to water sports. Many people choose to bike along the vast network of bike paths in Hilton Head. Bike rentals are available at the deli in the Hilton Head Resort, as well as at several bike rental shops nearby. The resort is just down the road from Shelter Cove, which offers great dining and shopping opportunities. Fireworks are launched from this location every Tuesday evening during the summer (and can often be seen right from this villa). The Comedy Club, located in Shelter Cove, is always great fun for adults! Be sure to try Roastfish and Cornbread, our favorite restaurant, located just minutes from the resort! On the south end of the island, more restaurants and shopping opportunites are available. The largest public beach on the island, Coligny Beach, is in this area. Sea Pines, also on the south end, is a great community, with its own restaurants, shopping, a forest preserve, and piers from which you can take dinner cruises, sailing excursions, and other fun water trips! You can even learn to paddle board while watching for dolphins in Sea Pines! Just off island in Bluffton, the opposite direction from Sea Pines, the 2 outlet malls are a big attraction for those interested in shopping. Many consignment and thrift stores dot the island. There is a wide selection of day spas available for those wanting to be pampered, and many renowned golf courses for those looking to improve their golf game. There is much to do on this beautiful slice of paradise, and we urge you to come experience the island life for yourself!
