This lake is a private lake with only a few cabins on it yet is close to everything....Its gorgeous views from every window in the greatroom and sunroom of the lake make you feel you are truly in paradise.

If you have your own power boat, Van Riper park is 5 miles from the home and has a boach launch (Lake Michigamme is a 4000 acre lake.) Home is 2.5 miles from Champion, 20 miles from Ishpeming, 15 miles from Republic, and 40 miles from Marquette and Lake Superior. Home also has satellite tv.

There is plenty to see and do at Camp Floating Bear....you will be amazed at the wildlife that also surround this wonderful retreat...

The water has a breathtaking view, and teach the kids how to fish. You will have a great time bringing in bluegill, large mouth bass, croppie. There are so many opportunities to explore nature. This waterfront cabin rental is also a great getaway for canoeing, kayaking, hiking and bird lovers. It is so quiet and private, there is plenty of time to relax and read a book. Fall colors in September and October are beautiful and hunting trails surround the property.

The Wanawonan Golf Course is located within 25 minutes and is close to Greenwood Resevoir. ATV enthusiasts will also find a great trail system available for riding and scenic adventures as the home sits on a private road with trails EVERYWHERE.
This home is spacious, and can sleep up to 10 people (2 Queen, 2 fulls, 2 twin, plus a full size futon. Additional beds can be arranged for additional people for a fee.) There is a sunroom area that has games and books, ambiance with its gorgeous views of the lake. 
The home has  a full kitchen, an eating area seating to accomodate 12 people (full table with 6 and island seating for 6); great room concept with tv satellite viewing, sunroom, outside deck with barbeque, fenced in yard around home( outside pets are negotiable with deposits.) The home also has a home theater downstairs. This place is truly a retreat!! 

Home is also available for fall, winter and spring.  As it sits on the 4000 miles of snowmobile trails, it is a paradise for snowmobiliers or snowshoers.  It has a wood burning stove for those cold and snowy nights to snuggle up next to with a book (home also has furnace heat), and icefishing available on the lake.  It also great tobaganning hills for the kids!
