Third House - Walk to both beach and town! in East Hampton

Perfectly located on town pond in East Hampton, Third House is one of the villages oldest homes. A half mile walk from downtown in one direction, and Main Beach in the other, (ranked one of the top ten beaches in America), Third House is the perfect setting for a relaxing summer vacation. Apart from the location, the house itself, built in the early 18th century and expanded in the 1920's, retains the charm and timelessness of summers on Long Island. Upstairs are two master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and one with a private balcony, and a small third bedroom. Downstairs is the full kitchen, recently renovated dining room, main living room, and the live-in caretakers room. The caretaker has been going to the Hamptons for many years, describes himself as "pretty cool", and is there to help if needed. Details such as original 1920's wallpaper and exposed beams in almost every room, a full bar and butlers pantry, multiple outdoor patios, and a traditional English garden give the house an old style charm found almost nowhere else.

Third House is not a share house. It is open for couples and families with children who do not like to peel off antique wallpaper, and is ready for renters starting Memorial Day weekend. The house will be available for holiday weekends or by the week or month all summer, and is being rented privately so there are no broker fees. *While the occupancy stated is 4 people, the house can accomidate up to 6 people at an extra charge of $100 per person per night.

These rates are good for the entire summer, and off season rates beginning in October can be negotiated privately.
