A 40 ft single wide Unit with Florida Room that will sleep six people comfortably, two
on the Queen bed in the bedroom two on the Queen sofabed in the
lounge and two on King Sofa bed in the Florida Room. It is a dry lot with lovely sea-views & breeze.

Unit has Central A/C & heat. There are Barbeque facilities and
a 'suntrap' picnic area outside the back of our home , sundeck to the front with lovely views over the sea to the U.S.1 and looking  out to the East the  Atlantic and deep blue sea, i love to sit on the sun deck with a beer and watch the Pelicans and Osprey cruise by.

MM33, 15 mins to Bahia Honda, the finest beaches outside of Hawaii,
close to the Blue Pool with it's amazing wild-life, Big Pine Key -key
deer, osprey, pelicans, shopping malls & flea markets, 2hrs 30 mins
drive North the wonderful EVERGLADES!!!

High Season (December 1st-May 31st)=$650per week.
Low Season (june-November)=$450 per week.
Lobster Seasons and Fantasy Fest. week $750 per week.
Cleaning $85 and there is a $30 surcharge for pets.

Great Little Place, Great Price and Great Owner

I am a resident of Ft. Lauderdale and my wife and I love visiting the keys for a quiet weekend getaway. When I contacted the owner Steve, he was very friendly, made it easy to work out the details of the rental and the price was great. The home is very clean, has all the amenities you need, the bed for me was very comfortable and the community and its facilities were excellent and also very quiet. We love going to Bahia Honda State Park for the beach just to the north and its just a short drive to Key West to the south. Overall we had a very nice time and will definitely return in the future. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place. If you are looking to party, Key West is a few miles south. If you are looking for a great beach in the keys, Bahia Honda is just a few miles north. We also brought our two dogs. Very pet friendly park. Thanks Steve!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

I don't know where the Angel comment about the bed came from ,it was a real shock, but Iam relieved someone has offered support for the bed as good as the support given by the bed!!!!!!!I think I can put that one to bed now and rest easy, by the way did I mention the BED?
I have been going down to the Keys for 16yrs. now and I never tire of it and it's wonderful every year.

Great place for the price

The owner is very nice and easy to work with, and answered all of the questions I had fast. We were able to check in early which was very nice and helpful. The house is nice but could use a little TLC. Mainly in the kitchen, there are lots and lots of dishes just scattered throughout the cabinets, a lot of them had been used a lot and probably should be tossed away. My husband and I had a horrible time sleeping on the bed in the master bedroom cause it was very hard and uncomfortable. We took all the comforters we could find and put them all on the bed to soften it up some.

Overall, this is a nice quiet place to stay, The pool and hot tub are nice and the little grocery store is convenient. The view from the house is great!

This was my husband and I's first time staying in the Florida Keys so we were not sure what to expect. Cudjoe Key is very quiet and laid back. Perfect for older couples or families wanting to be away from the busy-ness of Key West, and away from beaches...

Recommended for: age 55+, people with disabilities, pet-friendly

Owners response: Well, in October 11 i was there someone had re stocked the plates ,nice of them, there was about 20 of them so plenty to go at & mostly new , I will check in October 12 and make sure we are o.k. I don't see how you can scatter plates in a cupboard and they WILL have been used that's what they are there for!!!
NOW on the bed,it is a big money POSTURE PEDIC,I don't like hard beds either so
I took great care on this item as i want to be comfortable as well when i stay for 3 months, as this is the first comment on the bed in the 4 years of it's life,and i have regulars in for 3 mo. in the winter they, love it and come back every year, we will agree to differ. You could say that a bed is a no win situation as all people like different types,however , I got this right! One complaint, around 300 people have used the bed-IT STAYS .If anyone is worried by this, test drive the P.Ped. at your local Sears first L.O.L. and if a comforter put it right it wasn't too far wrong and remember there were 2 other nice quality new beds in the other rooms too they didn't move to 1 of these so I'm not convinced.
P.S. I'm what's known as a straight talking honest Yorkshireman I don't want to sound a bit hard and mean BUT I AM SO I DO!!!

P.P.S. It's Dec. 12 just came back from The Wonderful Keys , i bought a new 3" memory foam mattress topper from Habitat so I have covered the bases re. the bed for the 1 person in 300 who may have a problem, it is stored in the walk in closet in the bedroom,I'm also a FAIR MAN see? 3 stars now become 5!!!!!
Also, yes the plates were a bit scattered took about 45 secs. to put same colors and sizes together ,i like it like that too, they all look new to me so to mention this does smack of someone being a bit high maintenance maybe?
Finally i bought this place when i was 36 years old ,not old, And i recently met a number of 20 somethings there, as usual,so any age group is happy at V.Out. after all Paradise is Paradise whatever age you are.

Spring Break 2012 - Family Style

My family and I just left and miss it already. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A well kept gated community that has something for all to do with out even leaving. A vacation spot you don't mind letting kids be kids. Our kids had plenty to do which also gave Mom & Dad a much needed break. The rental is everything described and more. The views are to die for and you are close anough to Key West to enjoy all it has to offer and not break the bank. My family and I are looking at returning next spring.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, pet-friendly, sight seeing
