Welcome to Maxwelton Beach on beautiful Whidbey Island! This bright, airy cottage is a great place for adults and/or families who enjoy the beach and park. With three bedrooms, a TV room, two baths, three decks plus a patio, there is ample space for your group. Maxwelton Beach Park, only 25 yards away, has a small play area for young kids, a baseball field, covered picnic shelters, and a boat launch. Come enjoy a northwest summer, or enjoy the two fire places during the winter months. Any season is a fine time to walk the beach. Useless Bay is quite shallow and gives lots of space to explore and play at low tide; and amazing sunsets! Located on a quiet street, it’s also perfect for bike rides. Heron House will make a great, memorable Whidbey retreat!

Heron House is fully equipped to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen has all the cooking essentials as well as a waffle iron and air popper. The TV downstairs has cable and a DVD player, with several movies if you don't bring your own. There are many art, fiction and non-fiction books if you are into reading. Many of the art pieces on the walls were done by family members!
