Beautiful Updated Condo with Free Internet and A/C in Kihei

Located in sunny Kihei, my Kihei Akahi condo is the perfect place to spend your Hawaiian vacation. The complex boasts lovely tropical landscaped grounds with plumeria trees, hibiscus and other mature, lush Hawaiian plants. A three to five minute walk from your lanai will put you on sandy Kamaole Beach II. Here you will be able to catch the rays of the sun (wear sunscreen!) or swim and snorkel in the gentle surf. In the evenings the sunsets provide many opportunities to capture that special photo by which you will remember your time in Hawaii.

My spacious (696 SF), ground-floor condo with lanai opening out onto a large lawn, has been tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished to provide you with a feeling of home away from home. Inside is your own washer and dryer, ceiling fans, and a fully-equipped kitchen. In addition, the condo has an eclectic library of books and VCR tapes -- several featuring Hawaiian history and/or culture -- to enhance your vacation experience.

INTERNET:   FREE Dell laptop with Broadband Internet access is available for guests.  You may also bring your own laptop and simply plug in the broadband cable and follow directions -- again at no cost to guests.

KITCHEN/BATH:  Updated full kitchen and bathroom vanity cabinets and countertops.  Newer appliances -- microwave, dishwasher, full-size stove and refrigerator.  Separate bath/bathtub area and sink/vanity areas.  Hairdryer.  Extensive cooking utensils. 

LIVING ROOM:  New sofabed and entertainment furniture, window air conditioner and ceiling fan in living room.  Newer berber carpeting.

BEDROOM:  The bedroom has a quality king bed, large closet, soundproof window and ceiling fan.

GENERAL:  In-room safe, cable TV, VCR/DVD, stereo, CD player, phone, answering machine, ironing board and iron, and washer/dryer are in the unit.    Tile floors in kitchen, hall and bath.  All needed linens, beach towels and chairs, ice chest, and quality snorkeling gear (seven sizes of fins) are available to guests.   

ON THE GROUNDS: Two Pools, a Tennis Court and Gas Grills(BBQ) are on the grounds.  Free, reserved parking space close to the condo is available.

Please note: The condo is NON-SMOKING and no pets are allowed. This unit is easily accessible by elevator or steps.

Activities (on site or nearby): Biking, Golf, Tennis, Shopping, Horseback Riding, Swimming, Snorkeling & Diving, Sailing, Windsurfing and Restaurants (both casual and upscale). Maui Ocean Center (a must see) is 20 minutes away.  Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

Value Season Rates: April 16 thru December 19 . . .$95/nt (1-6 nts); $88 nt (7-13 nts); $82/nt (14- 28 nts.)  Inquire for longer stays.  Minimum* stay 4 nights. See below.

Holiday Rates: December 20 thru January 5

Winter (high season) Rates:  January 6 thru April 15 . . . $110/nt (1-6 nts); $100/nt. (7-21 nts.); 22 nts + Inquire.  Minimum* stay 4 nights.

Minimum nights may be waived if stay can fit between other reservations or arrival date is less than 30 days.

All stays are subject to an additional one-time  exit cleaning charge of $100.

Rates are based on Dbl/Occupancy. 1st child (in addition to two adults) 16 or under is free. Each additional person is $10 per night.  Hawaii taxes of 13.42% are in addition to the rent.

Security Deposit:  A fully refundable  $200 security/damage deposit is required.
