Close to the Takoma metro, community center and parks - minutes away from Washington DC. Treat yourself to a jacuzzi after a long day of sight seeing and before you pour yourself a glass of wine and go out to sit on one of the three charming porches that overlook the neighborhood. Enjoy the short walk up to the organic food co op or the Sunday local farmers market. We take pride in our lovely home and invite you to make it a part of your well-deserved vacation!

The Takoma Metro Station (red line) is only a 20 minute walk from the house. Buses stop to the metro is right on the corner, steps from the house. From the Takoma Metro it takes 13 minutes without changing line to reach Gallery Place Metro Station and take an easy walk to: The White House; The National Mall; The monuments; The Smithsonian's and the other popular museums and conservatories; The US Capitol and the other popular buildings; Union Station; The Convention Center; Chinatown; Verizon Center.... The Takoma Metro Station opens at 5:00 AM everyday and closes at Midnight Sunday to Thursday and at 3:00 AM Friday and Saturday.
