There are many excellent seafood restaurants, tiki bars, markets, and boutique shopping in the nearby areas of Port Saint Lucie, Stuart, Jupiter, Vero Beach, Downtown Ft.Pierce along the waterfront, and many beaches to explore on Hutchinson Island. Ocean and River Front (Indian River) Activities Galore, Swimming, Snorkeling, Kayaking, Boating, Shelling, Fishing, Surf Fishing, Additional Golfing ( famous PGA course is about 15 minutes), Beach Tours on Horseback, Rodeo in nearby Okeechobee, Navy Seal Museum, Smithsonian Museum, Friday Fest in Ft Pierce, Harbor Branch-Marine Research Center, Orlando, Disney, and Seaworld and all the large theme parks an hour 1/2 away, take a day trip!

Take a 10 minute drive to the beach, or Take a day trip to the large attractions: Port Saint Lucie is only about 1 ½ hours from Orlando (ie: Disney World, SeaWorld, Epcot), A new water park “Splash” in Stuart, FL just opened, about a 10 minute ride. There are Quaint Seaside towns all along the coast with great restaurants, shopping, and site seeing in Stuart (about 10 minutes), Jupiter (about 35 minutes), West Palm Beach (about 45minutes), and Vero Beach (about 30 minutes) with an abundance of activities available all along the way.
