New Listing! Awesome View –North Shore –Haleiwa Surf beachfront condo
Haleiwa, North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii, USA - < 45 minutes from HNL
Location, Location, Location! Newly renovated baths! Kitchen renovation to start in June! This is the best beachfront unit (top floor walk-up) with spectacular views of the ocean literally a stone’s throw from your private lanai. A nice white sand beach in front of complex is good for swimming as it’s protected by reef; great for snorkeling and beachcombing too. Famous North Shore surfing, can be watched from your lanai. Good to know your buildings – this unit is in the beach front building (B for Beach) of Haleiwa Surf Condos facing the ocean.
E Komo Mai (welcome) to Hawaii! What better way to spend your vacation in Hawaii but by having a Mai Tai on your private lanai staring & mesmerized at the ocean/beach, watching the sunset! Awesome 3rdfloor (top) unit has spectacular views of famous North Shore surf breaks (Haleiwa - home of the Triple Crown Surf Tournament as well as Bay Watch). Great for that romantic get-away or a fun family vacation. Lots to see & do! Haleiwa Surf Condominium is conveniently located near Historic Haleiwa Town for shopping and restaurants. With a full kitchen, you can have simple to gourmet meals in the condo or delicious dine-out meals just down the road. If you want to meet others, there is a common area BBQ with picnic tables, where people in the building come together in the evening often to mingle. Historic Haleiwa Town is self contained with everything from grocer, pharmacy, banks, shaved-ice stands, coffee, art galleries, and great restaurants to even a McD’s if the keiki (kids) are with you. Some must-do’s & favorites are Matsumoto’s Shaved-ice, Haleiwa Joe’s (you can walk to), Jameson’s by the Sea, Kua’aina Burgers (great fries), Mexican, the Shrimp trucks, way too many to name. You can take surfing lessons or rent a board in the many surf shops in Haleiwa as well as buy the cutest bikini in the darling boutiques! Kayak up the river from the boat harbor under picturistique Anahulu bridge. Go on a Shark adventure, fishing tour or boat ride at the Harbor. Visit Waimea Botanical Gardens & learn the hula. Or just sunbathe and take that long stroll on the beach.
When to come to Hawaii? You ask…well each season is wonderful and the temperature doesn’t change much more than 10 degrees from winter to summer, it’s typically in the 80’s daily. Our tropical tradewinds cool us in the summer and the tropical breeze off of the ocean warms us in the winter.
Summer - the ocean on the North Shore is calmer in the summer. Although there can be some smaller wave action to surf, it’s typically a great time to snorkel, boat, fish, kayak, SUP and swim. The Haleiwa Boat Harbor is nearby next to Haleiwa Alii Beach Park. Sharks cove is fabulous for snorkeling (a great reef shelf with many colorful fish, coral & turtles).
Winter – the ocean on the North Shore is famous for the BIG WAVES. This is so incredibly spectacular to watch (or surf if you dare). A definite must to see is Pipeline, Sunset & Waimea beaches (can reach up to 25 feet)! And of course can watch right off the lanai, Haleiwa, Avalanche Puaena Pt. & Walls.
Spring – can be end of winter swells or balmy beginning of summer or more than likely a combination of both seasons.
Fall – can be beginning of winter swells or end of summer calm oceans, probably a combination of both seasons.
Fall thru Spring is whale season and Humpbacks can be seen breaching from your lanai. Most seasons the Honu (sea turtles) are swimming in the reef and can be seen popping up their heads or while snorkeling along with an array of beautiful colorful fish. Oh and visiting Monk Seal sunbathing on the beach in front of your condo as well as dolphins spinning by. Truly nature’s wildlife zoo for you viewing pleasure.
Kona Winds – periodically through-out the year there are Kona wind days (humid). But mostly in late summer.
