activities and attractions in Prescott Arizona
Prescott is loaded with things to do. This a people friendly town
with lots of hiking and biking trails. Fish in one of five lakes. Do
the boutiques downtown or go antiquing at the endless shops. If you
like the night clubs there is "Whiskey Row", where you are sure to
have a great time drinking, dancing, and listening to the best bands
around. At least 7 bands a half mile away. Gambling is a short
distance away at several casinos. Within ten minutes you can walk
downtown where the plaza aways has bands and dancing. Weekends are
filled with craft and art shows. The mom and pop type restaurants
are the best. Check out the sweet shoppes. The fourth of July is a
blast with a rodeo and parade. Numereous parks in the area are great
for picinics and walking. Softball games are real popular here.
There is live theatre and movie theaters. If you like the horse
races , check out the new track. Horeseback riding is available too.
If it is winter the weather has been warm lately but you always have
the chance of some snow, so come and enjoy. Do'nt forget to give a
try at gold panning on one of the creeks. And much, much more.
