Great West Side Waterfront Beach House in Whidbey Island

The Driftwood Bay Beach House is a privately owned, 1000 square foot, one story, three bedroom, one bath vacation home located in the Admiral's Cove Development.  The homes unique driftwood structures throughout the exterior of the property lend itself to a very beachy feel.  It is a great centrally located home if you are looking to explore the Olympic Peninsula as it is located just minutes from the Keystone/Pt. Townsend Ferry. 

The expansive views of the shipping lanes, Olympic Mountains and gorgeous sunsets are just spectacular.  You'll enjoy the abundance of wildlife from the Sound and the extensive adjacent wetlands where you will often see blue herons, sea otters, seals, porpoises or a resident pair of bald eagles who have nested in a large snag near the community pool. 

The home is located near the NAS Whidbey OLF Field where at times the navy practices during the week, touching their wheels down and then taking back off, like they are landing on an aircraft carrier.  If they practice during your stay, you will incur jet noise, (The Sound Of Freedom). Most kids and some adults really enjoy watching the jets fly overhead.  

The homes open floor plan allows you to enjoy your views from the living room, kitchen and dining area.  The large sheltered patio area is a great place to barbecue and relax, especially on those windy days on the West side of the Island.  

There is a queen bed in two of the bedrooms, and a brand new futon couch in the smallest bedroom. The home has recently been painted throughout and the entire bathroom was updated with all new fixtures, vanity and flooring.   Other amenities with the home are a microwave, toaster oven, washer & dryer, Wireless Internet, Cable TV and a DVD player.

There is a large community pool (that can be used with paying a small fee, per person during the summer months), situated right on the beach just down the street, along with a small playground, basketball court and covered picnic area. 

Bring your kayaks, fishing poles, and bicycles, as you can launch a kayak or fish right from your own private beach. The roads surrounding the area are all nice and flat, great for riding bikes to Fort Casey, Ebey's Landing, The Kettle Trails, or into downtown Coupeville.  The area is known for its excellent fishing during the three different salmon runs.

Off Season Rates:
$145/night, 2 night minimum, weeknights (October 1st - May 31st)
$170/night, 2 night minimum, weekend nights(October 1st - May 31st)
$845/week (October 1st - May 31st)

Peak Season Rates:
$160/night, 4 night minimum, weeknights (June 1st - Sept. 31st)
$195/night, 4 night minimum, weekends (June 1st - Sept. 31st)
$995/week (June 1st - Sept. 31st)

Holiday Reservations:
All Holiday Reservations require a 3 night minimum stay and are subject to peak season weekend rates.

Additional Charges:
There is a $100 Cleaning/Garbage fee plus 10.7% sales tax.  We also require a refundable security/damage deposit be paid, the amount is dependant on the length of the reservation.

You're welcome to bring your dog, with paying a one time $40 Pet Fee for each pre-approved pet.
