When visiting Durango Mountain Resort, Purgatory Lodge is the most desirable location to stay. It is the newest property and as close to the base as possible, with the most comprehensive services and amenities available at any ski resort. Same building as Durango Mountain Club with it's destination-quality spa and recreation amenities. A year-round pool, adult spa deck, club lounge, family game room, fitness center, ski valet and locker room are some of great amenities available to guests.  

No expense has been spared in outfitting our "home away from home."   This is located in the main building of Durango Mountain resort, overlooking highly desirable scenery of the Needles Mountains to the south, and the plaza at DMR.  Staying in the Lodge is the ONLY way to visit DMR!

In the winter, spend your time on the slopes skiing or snowboarding.  Ski school,Day Care, and Ticket Offices are all within a few steps of your front door, making this the most accessible ski-in/ski-out on the mountain. Those not on the mountatin can shop, visit the spa, or relax in several luxurious lounges, game rooms, or restaurant/bars in the Lodge. At night prepare to relax in the HOT outdoor pool and waterslide, hot tub, or playing games in the game room, or visiting with friends in the lounge.  Or just enjoy the luxurious furnishing in the condo itself! 

In the summer, have a blast in the Durango Mountain Resort plaza, where you will find bungee jumping, zip line, rock walls, electronic bull, bounce houses and shopping. Walk a short distance up the hill and ride the chairlift to the top of the alpine slide, where you will enjoy a thrilling ride to the bottom of the moutain. Hiking, mountain biking and swimming are all part of the fun at the resort, and it is all directly accessible right out the door of this condo!
