Vacation Rental Description

Beautiful owner-occupied home on one-third acre in active adult 
resort setting at the foot of the Santa Catalina mountains, 25 miles 
north of downtown Tucson.  2,200 square foot home (Topaz model built 
in 1995) is completely remodeled and furnished.  Gourmet kitchen 
features extensive granite counters, and all new high-end appliances 
including DCS gas stove and oven, instant hot water and ice-maker.  
34-inch Sony Wega flat screen television in the family room and a 32 
inch Sony LCD in the master bedroom, both with High Definition 
DirectTV. Other equipment includes dvd, dvr and a cd player, as well 
as extensive book, cd and dvd library. Digital satellite television 
and 7 HBO channels. DSL and wireless broadband. Living room includes 
gas fireplace.  Two car garage and utility room with new washer, 
dryer. Covered patio with new slate floor, ceiling fans, and Ducane 
natural gas barbeque.  Gorgeous, extra large, very private lot is 
fully landscaped(including 17 citrus) and has a completely automated 
drip-watering system.  Waterfall, pond and hot tub.  

Vacation Rental Amenities

Bedrooms all feature new beds with a king in the master and queens in 
the guest bedroom and den.  All linens (350-540 ct. cotton sheets), 
towels and pillows furnished.  Kitchen is completely supplied with 
everything you might need (including mixer, blender, juicer, 
coffeemaker, food processor, plus spices, condiments, etc).  Four-
passenger Yamaha golf cart and two bicycles are provided to take 
advantage of SaddleBrooke's wide streets and golf cart/bike lanes.  
Fully air-conditioned with 5 interior and 3 exterior ceiling fans 
plus patio heater for winter nights.  Covered patio with table and 
six chairs plus wicker sofa and two chairs.  Large open brick patio 
features additional seating. Upper hillside patio features 
outstanding mountain views. With no streetlights and crystal clear 
skies, watching shooting stars from the hot tub or open patio will be 
addicting.  Daily Tucson newspaper and FREE UNLIMITED DOMESTIC & LONG 
DISTANCE telephone calls included.

Activities and Attractions

SaddleBrooke's extensive amenities include 4 large swimming pools (heated to 
86-88 degrees year round), 2 lap pools, jacuzzi spas, saunas, 
multiple 18 hole golf courses, exercise rooms, libraries, 2 cafes, 3 
restaurants and bars in the three beautiful club houses. At the foot 
of the spectacular Santa Catalina mountains, SaddleBrooke features 
incredible bird-watching, as well as the opportunity to see deer, 
coyotes, bobcats and javelina.  Oracle and Catalina State Parks offer 
great nearby hiking. The Tucson area offers many great attractions, 
including Sabino Canyon, The Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, Old 
Tucson, Saguaro National Park, Mt. Lemmon, Tombstone, Bisbee, Ramsey 
Canyon, Madera Canyon, Tubac and Kartchner Caverns. Nogales, Mexico, 
is a 2 hour drive to the south.

Vacation Rental Rates

$700/week June through September.  $1000/week rest of year. We prefer to rent to one party for the 
time period of January & February, 2009 and are flexible on arrival/departure up to March 8th.   
Discounts for multiple week stays (April-December).  Additional charges for three or four guests.  
Email for rate quote. All utilities included...domestic long distance telephone (including Canada 
calls) and daily Tucson newspaper.  Non-smokers only and absolutely no pets.  $500 security deposit. 
$150 retained for cleaning, $350 balance fully refundable if house and contents are undamaged and no 
excess cleaning required. Note that SaddleBrooke is an adult 55+ community.
