We have multiple units including a Penthouse with 1000 sq foot sun deck and a 2 bedroom unit all with ocean front/view rooms. All units are very updated with high quality furnishings throughout.  The penthouse is first set of pictures. Our focus is on quality units for quality renters. While being the lowest price is not our concern, you will find the comfort and ammenities only found in high quality hotels and homes and the pricing to be very fair.  We dont charge more for this high level of comfort. Units are ON the beach so there are no streets to cross. The Tiki bar is a great place for drinks and food. So much so, that the locals do frequet the bar for its fun in the sun. The building has gone through a lot of renovation over the years and continues to improve. Absolutely great for families, couples, and weddings. Sorry, renters must be over the ave of 30. We bring our family with our 4 and 7 year old there a few times a year and would love to have you bring yours. All bathrooms and kitchens have been remodeled and include Gallery style appliances. Bedding has high quality and new sheets/comforters and upgraded each year.   Beach towels are also included. Tokyo Blue in the lobby offers great Sushi and other dishes. Valet parking is the most affordable anywhere in FT Lauderdale at just $ 5-7 a day. Location is the icing on the cake. walking distance to the pier and very safe and residential area yet only 5 minutes to Las Olas and downtown. Feel free to ask any questions. Great time at Ocean Manor!

I would like to say that overall we enjoyed our trip very much. The property layout was great for our group as the open living area gave our family plenty of room to spread out. The location of the property was good for us as we had great beach access and enjoyed being able to use the pool and have the bar/restaurant so close. There were plenty of linens and ice available in the building for our use. We would have enjoyed the patio on the roof more had the patio furniture been in place and able to be left in place. But this was minor in the overall scheme of things.

There were a few minor inconveniences as one of the AC units in the main living area was not working properly and there was a plumbing issue that created a loud noise in the ceiling of the entry when water went through the pipes. The television in the bedroom closest to the ocean was not working. You were really kind to take several calls from us and were very prompt in responding. The only other issue was that the valet service lost our car keys and so we were without a car for one day. However the Condo Association president took care of this for us and was really helpful.

As I said, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers

Owners response: I am glad we have, yet another, happy guest. While they consider the inconveniences minor, we take them very seriously. To that point we asked the association to take care of the noisy pipe problem and informed them the monthly dues would be paid as soon as they were or we would use those funds to hire a plumber to do so on their behalf. It seems as though that has worked as they have worked on it. We do understand the need to respond promptly and always will. We appreciate it when our efforts are noticed. Any unit in any building can have a problem. Its how you handle it that sets you apart.

Last Minute Vacation

First of all THANKS to Mike for working with us as we put this trip together at the last moment. We wish we could give 5 stars and once the building finishes a few final touches we probably can. Location is great, views are stunning and the space is huge. We are 8 but there is room for more. Beds are awesome and looks like brand new linens and cookware. Was concerned about that from another review but all is in order. There are two amazing bathrooms in perfect condition and one small one that is neat and clean but not as new. Bedrooms are perfect and layout allows all rooms to have a direct ocean view. Not sure why there are some poor reviews on this unit but it seems that the issues are resolved in our opinion. We would return.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, tourists without a car

Beware - Moldy, Disappointing, Poorly Maintained - Read All Reviews!

This is a very old, worn building a poorly maintained condo. Disgusting moldy tile in the bathrooms were totally unacceptable. The condo was dirty including kitchen, cooktop, refrigerator and floors when we arrived. The AC did not work and after calling the owner, he told us to open the windows to cool it down since the workers would not be able to come until the next day. After they came to fix the AC, it still was so hot in the bedrooms that we dragged the mattresses out to sleep in the hallway. The owner asked me to check to see if the kitchen sink was till leaking since the previous tenant complained about it. I told him, yes the sink is leaking in the cabinet, but he never had anyone come to fix it. It looks like the owner painted the walls himself and it was very poorly done. The layout is very strange and it appears to be a place for large groups of students to use it as a party house, yet the owner does not keep it up. The elevator is so loud that we all had to wear ear plugs to try to sleep at night. The elevator makes a loud noise all night long. We had to buy a frying pan because there was only two small frying pans and they were very well worn. This is in no way a "Penthouse". It was so very disappointing. I would never rent it again and now won't consider VRBO in the future. The only positive thing I can say about this place was the deck was big and had a nice view and the mattresses were comfortable.

Owners response: Well, its clear that this review isnt totally accurate for most people as we have received many excellent reviews with the unit in the exact same condition. The guests are entitled to their opinions on what is totally unacceptable or not. The mold in the bathroom they speak of is discoloration in the tile grout. Our cleaners hit it with bleach each time they clean. The grout will need to be replaced and will be once there is a break in rental. I do have the receipts for the painter we hired to paint the entire unit. As for the AC, I received a call at 6:30 in the evening at which I was able to reach our HVAC contractor (A Star) they were able to dispatch very first thing in the morning. The guest found this totally unacceptable and expected someone to work during the night in the attic to get the 1 out of 4 AC units working better. I did not hear back from them after the service tech went in the morning. The sink does have a drip and unfortunately the plumber needed to get a new faucet once inspecting the problem. Since it was a short stay, this was completed after they left. It caused no inconvenience to the tenants as it was under the sink and a bucket was there to prevent damage. They only knew about it because i asked them to check for me. I know this is not a new building and no one advertises it as such. However, it is not an "old falling apart mess" that the guest claims it to be. Our unit is certainly not a mess or disaster either. The pictures are exactly what you get. I get it though. She was frustrated about the HVAC and that made everything more sensitive. If you are expecting perfection and luxury with red carpet and white gloves, check the prices at the Ritz, Conrad, and Q Club. The pricing will be MUCH higher too. The word penthouse is to indicate the top level(s) of a building where they are more upgraded then the other units below. Our unit is over twice the size of units below, full size washer drier, heat and AC compared to just AC, an audio system, the sundeck, and jacuzzi/soaking tubs not to mention 10' ceilings and the 180 deg AMAZING (not just nice) view. Our unit is certainly a Penthouse. Its just not at the Ritz. If a clean, very large, nicely decorated 3/4 bedroom unit is what you are looking for, this is it! The building is fun and by the way, we have a 30 year old limit on this unit. No parties, no college kids, we have even turned down sports stars in fear they would entertain in the unit. I hope they have a better next trip.
