At the cottage, you can stroll to the uncrowded beach, walk in the cool, shady woods, enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, hike the dunes, walk or ride a bike to Van Buren State Park, we have a gas grill for grilling, a fire pit for gathering around in the evening, a deck and patio furniture to lounge on, and blueberry farms to pick blueberries at just down the road.
Nearby South Haven has a wide variety of activities from hanging out at the beach, hiking, bars and restaurants, antiques, shopping, movies, farmer's markets, blueberry farms, orchards and various seasonal festivals and activities.
There are campgrounds and a public beach at Van Buren State Park, about 1/2 a mile from the cottage.
