Sunset Cliffs was a dream getaway

I can not say enough good things about our stay at Sunset Cliffs. The house is a perfect set up for a multi-family rental getaway. The location was absolutely ideal. The view every night at the cliffs was what postcards are made from. You are within mere minutes of San Diego's best attractions like Sea World, The Zoo, Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, and the Gaslamp District.
The set up of the house itself was great. Being that we had 4 couples and a few children and seemed like we had more than ample room was fantastic. The yard was amazing. The amount of space plus the pool/spa and bbq area were so convenient for the days we stayed at the property just relaxing. The house has a very nice modern look and feel to it. Great set up in the kitchen for cooking. The pictures online are good but was even more amazed when we checked in. Olivia was great and showed us all we needed to know when we got there. This is a place I know I and or my family will be staying at again. A cool thing we found while staying there was a farmer's market on Wednesday night at ocean beach that occurs weekly. We got to try some great food and bought some great souvenirs from the surrounding stores. If you are looking to order out there is a couple great local pizza places. Breakfast on the west coast's longest pier was a pretty awesome scene as well. You're also a short drive from Snooze (San Diego's and possibly U.S.A.'s best breakfast) as well as Phil's BBQ (Another must try). There is a a burger spot at ocean beach called Hodad's that you gotta check out. The only bad thing about this trip was that it only lasted 10 days. I wish I was back there already.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Came here for a 4 guy getaway and it was absolutely unbelievable. Really sorry we didnt have more people and more time. Backyard was great for BBQ and poolside, then lounging in the front yard at sunset was perfect. People would scramble on the rocks for the view each evening but we had a front row seat, cocktails in hand. Olivia was great...Newport Street is a 1.5 mile walk away....

Recommended for: age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway

Wonderful property next to Sea World

This was a very memorable vacation that we spent with our extended family. The property comfortably accomodated 6 adults and 4 children. All amenities were avaialble as described. The pool is perfect if you want time to socialize and keep your kids occupied. The property has a great feel and wonderful decorative touches. The pictures do not appear to do it justice as we were much more impressed once we got there. Backyard is spectacular with 2 seating areas and full grill. The only caveat is a lack of a swimable beach close by (for some reason we expected it, though it was never implied), but the benefits of being there were well worth it. Also, the property manager was very fast to respond to our requests, such as a tea kettle, internet connection questions, etc. Thank you for great memories!

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers
