Paradise in Panama

We have been vacationing in Mexico and Central America for about 7 years now. We rented this house for 2 months. It is the nicest house and most beautiful setting of any place we have rented to date. When you can eat breakfast every morning on the covered patio with such a beautiful view while listening to waves come in off of the Caribbean, it just doesn’t get any better.

The pictures on the website don’t really show how nice the interior of house really is. It is the most comfortable house we have rented. Leather recliners, flat screen TV, DVD player, king bed, etc.

Dawn, the property manager and her husband Rey were very responsive to any issues or concerns we had while there. We had a problem with the hot water, called Dawn and the problem was taken care of almost immediately. Rey was extremely helpful answering our questions about local customs, sight seeing, directions, etc.

There is a lot more we could say about the house and property (great pool, cool BBQ, snorkeling right in front of the house) but we’ll just say we had a great time and didn’t want to leave.

Oh yeah, Luis and Janet, the caretakers on the property, were wonderful. They were a great help in keeping everything in the house and property running smooth. Great family.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers

We thought you were pleased but didn’t realize to that extent. It did get better after the hot water quirk I’m sure! I appreciate your acknowledgment, but really we’re just “doing our job”. We try to make sure clients are comfortable and enjoy their vacation by helping them find their way around and know what there is to be offered here – so I’m glad we succeeded in your view! I’ll pass along the “thumbs up” to Luis and Janet as well. We all hope to see you return!

For us, it offers all we could want...

We have been coming out here for the last two years and love it. Safe, quiet, and the pool is lovely to have. You can swim in the ocean but it is a bit hard to walk with the coral in the area. The view is wonderful and even if it did rain there is a patio area out the living/dining area that is covered so you can still enjoy eating outside. It never gets cold. We have been out here in dry season and rainy season and love both. We live in Panama City so come here for the peace and quiet and Tom is taking diving lessons (advanced now) from Dawn's husband Rey, who is just about the best instructor you could ask for. I know Tom highly recommends him. They are 5 minutes away too.

On site there is a great couple who look after the place as well.

Having the pool, the BBQ, internet and a huge home on the beach is just the best...in fact I hesitate in saying all this because it could make it harder for us to have open spots now.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
