We are just a 5 minute ride down the main canal which leads to the open gulf of Mexico.   If you enjoy kayaking there is a beautiful sandbar at the end of the main channel where you can float in the water or enjoy a cold drink. This is the perfect waterfront get away close to all the city amenities.
