A private, hidden retreat on clear and sparkling Lake Clay. The 367 acre sandy-bottom lake is excellent for swimming, kayaking, boating, fishing and water sports of all kinds. A small private sandy beach set in a tropical surrounding invites a dip in the lake or a lazy afternoon with a good book. It’s also a perfect retreat setting for writers and artists.

Simplicity Cottage Bungalow is a newly remodeled small apartment. It accommodates two adults comfortably with a king size bed. A sleeper sofa would sleep a small child. Cottage décor, fresh linens, a small sitting room, dining room or game table and a full-size kitchen with three bar stools provides ample room for all kinds of activities. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Should your stay be longer than a week, extra bedding and towels will be supplied for your housekeeping. No smoking inside and no pets please.

Lake Placid is the Caladium Capital of the World. It's also known for the murals on nearly every building in town that depict Florida's history and the town's. We sport 27 freshwater lakes with great bass fishing and water sports of all descriptions. Bok Tower is one hour north and Disney, Busch Gardens and Legoland are a short trip. Some of the nicest people on earth live right here in the heart of Florida. Sebring International Raceway is 10 miles away where historic IMSA 12 hr. Sebring endurance race is held each year in March.
