Fish are plentiful year round and in-season crabbing and shrimping are popular with locals and visitors alike.
This is a nature lover's paradise with a variety of waterfowl and wildlife to be seen along the shores and islands of the creeks and rivers.
Historic St. Augustine (established 1565) is a 30 minute drive. The town features historic sites, shops, galleries and restaurants (indoor and outdoor dining).
St. Augustine beaches are a 40 minute drive and are among the prettiest in Florida. Driving is allowed on most St. Augustine beaches.
