Gold Finch Cabin, at its 2000 foot elevation is perched for cooler summer climates with a scenic view of Golden Valley.

Gold Finch Cabin is private, secluded and quiet … no neighbors, at the end of a blacktop mountain road and is fully stocked with linens, paper products, cooking utensils, microwave, air conditioning, and satellite television with DVD

When you arrive, you’ll find the beds freshly made with crisp linens and soft, fresh towels in the baths, heat or air conditioning on, TV’s, interior and exterior lights on.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, microwave, cookware, dishes, utensils and the refrigerator and pantry will already be partly stocked.

Gold Finch Cabin boasts a large welcoming living area with a free standing gas fireplace, spacious dining area, a washer and dryer, an outdoor charcoal barbeque grill … we supply the first bag of charcoal and a cooking kitchen for the creative chef. Enjoy brilliant sunrises from the front deck and sunsets from the rear deck.

Beautiful pine log walls, heart pine flooring, and vaulted ceilings showcase this comfortable mountain home away from home.

On main floor is a master queen suite [with full bath], and a queen bedroom and full bath … upstairs is a queen bedroom in an open loft and a small bedroom with a full size floor bed … comfortable sleeping for up to 6 adults and 2 children. 

Outside, relax on the spacious front porch that wraps around the home … enjoy our Adirondack Rockers and picnic table. This area is perfect for a quiet sunrise breakfast, an afternoon read on porch or in the loft or an intimate sunset glass of wine.
