Cozy Cottage at Cozy Acres in Hot Springs

Peaceful, lake retreat on Lake Hamilton and 1 mile by water to Lake Ouachita.  Nestled in a quiet dead end residential area.  The Cozys Cottage is 4 yrs old, has its own deck .  This is an upstairs cottage with lakeviews from 3 sides.   There is a nice lawn if the kids want to pitch a tent.  The big attraction here, is the last leg of Lake Hamilton which is the cold water area, known as Ouachita River (because it flows from Lake Ouachita, cold and clean.) This makes for very good fishing, even trout. There is a private boat launch right here also, if you need it.  If you would rather be on Lake Ouachita, it is 5 miles to Blakely Dam area, 8 miles to the spillway, and 10 miles to the State Park.  There is a back way to go to Hot Springs from here which is 12 miles total and very scenic.  It puts you directly at Bath House Row downtown.  So whether you journey to Hot Springs, or Lake Quachita, you are in the middle here at our location.

If you want trails, we can direct you to many.  There is one 3 miles from here that takes you to a natural pool at the end.  We are hikers, so can help you with many great trail ideas.  As for swimming, there is an awesome area at Brady Mountain, which is a 25 min. drive from here.  It is Lake Ouachita, in a secluded cove with sunsets that will take your breath. The last 2 pic's on here are of this area on Ouachita, they are NOT directly outside of the cottage. 

Cottage will sleep 4, but keep in mind, if adults then 3 is more practical.  There is a Qn. bed in Bdrm, and a Full Size Futon in front room.

Lakeview deck. Whirlpool Tub, Studio Kitchen w/Cooktop, micro, fridge.  Charcoal grill, table and chairs outside. Gas grill also for your use.  LAKESIDE PATIO...SO CLOSE-SUCH A VIEW!

Queen bed in bedroom.  Living area has new futon with inner spring mattress.  Also have a nice airbed, if needed.

Boating, Kayaking, Canoeing, swimming, fishing, hiking. ATV's are ok.  Lakefront Restuarant 5 miles on Lake Ouachita.  A new BBQ place  just opened this summer - 2.5 miles from our door.  Boat rentals on Ouachita within 5 miles.  Lake Hamilton watercraft rentals are apx. 8 miles.  Bradford Marina is closest boat rental to us for Lake Hamilton.   If you are into art galleries, nightclubs, gambling at Oaklawn- all within 12-15 miles.  For the kids, we are about a 25 min. drive to Magic Springs water/theme park.  It's the type of place here, that there is so much to do, and usually not enough time to do it. 

If you need multiple rooms, there is a lake front Lodge right next to us that has 4 units.  Also another vacation rental property about 2 blocks
