vacation rental description
Quiet beach home but close to everything!
Comfortable, cozy and cute 3-bedroom, 1 bath beach house is located just steps from a huge private association beach on a calm, protected cove on Buzzards Bay.
Relax and let the rhythms of nature dictate your day - swim when the tide is high and when the tide goes out, explore the sand bars, tidal pools - even a small island! The backyard is a perfect spot to relax in the shade, and there's a picnic table for dining al fresco.
In the evening, stroll down to the beach to watch the sun set over the water. At night, you can build a beach bonfire and watch the stars come out.
Our home has its original knotty pine paneling and comfy wicker couches for lounging. It can sleep up to six people; there is one full bathroom.
We are pet friendly!
For questions about the beach house or availability, please contact our property manager, Richard Strang of Seahorse Realty.

activities and attractions in Marion Other Areas
Marion is a charming, seaside town with stately sea captains’ homes lining the waterfront. The beach house is located in a quiet, kid-friendly neighborhood of summer and year-round homes.
And best of all, there are no crowds or traffic jams! But the town has great amenities, including a public golf course; Sippican Harbor, which is a mecca for sailors with its public boat ramp; in-town public tennis courts; excellent fishing and clamming; and wonderful restaurants nearby. (Don’t miss the Oxford Creamery for fried seafood and ice cream.)
Marion is easy to get to from New York or Boston - no bridges to cross! - and it's an easy, 20-minute drive to Cape Cod. You can also catch a ferry from nearby New Bedford if you want to make a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard.
