1 hour from Chicago, 1 mile from the South Shore train station and just one minute from beautiful Beverly Shores Beach, lovely large house on 3 lots with unique outdoor fireplace and all the basics for a great vacation and peaceful retreat. 2 bedrooms with double beds, 1 bedroom with twin bed, 2 double size sleeper sofas, all linens and beach towels, fully-equipped kitchen (sorry, no microwave!) with dishwasher and water-cooler with spring water. LED tv with DVD player, Comcast internet and tv (with HBO). Washer and drier in basement. 2 patios. Surrounded by trees in the wonderful Indiana Dunes.

6 bikes in garage, large picture window looking out on woods and wildlife galore, lotsa good feeling, this has been our family home for over 50 years! Our house is rustic, but has all the basics!

Beverly Shores public beach on Broadway, national lakeshore beach directly down Greatwater Ave, Lithuanica Park 3 blocks away where you can play tennis and basketball. Indiana Dunes State Park 1 mile away. Miles of quiet duneland roads to bike around in. Bartlett's restaurant 1 mile down Broadway. Lighthouse Outlet Mall in nearby Michigan City, along with fun places to go out to (Bluechip Casino, Swingbelly's, Mateys, Shoreline Brewery...). Loads of trails in state park and national lakeshore (hike down Cowle's Bog trail to beach and see what the area looked like 100 years ago, watch birds on the new trail on Broadway)
