Lookout Lodge is often referred to as "the most beautiful home in Idyllwild". It sits on an acre of land adjacent to the national forest enjoying 360 degree views of the San Jacinto Mountains, Garner Valley, oak, pine and manzanita forests, a waterfall and stream, and when conditions are just right, the ocean. Both sunrise and sunset are viewed from this unique property. Garnishing over 3500 square feet of living space, spectacular views, 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms, sleeping twelve, makes the Lookout Lodge an ideal choice for family gatherings as well as small groups * Should your group exceed twelve, there is a neighboring cabin which sleeps 6 comfortably and can be rented simultaneously. This home is owned by Jim and Kathleen Keifer whose works are featured in art galleries around the world. There is a small studio gallery on the property and the home itself is filled with original art, all for sale. A private tour is available upon request. Lookout Lodge is perfect for that intimate mountain wedding accommodating up to fifty guests. The garden area features many recreational choices including a trampoline, ping pong table, croquet and bocce gear for lawn sports, hot tub and a large cooking grill. There is an extensive library with hundreds of films, CD's and games in the downstairs media room, all for your enjoyment.
