This old-school Oregon Coast cottage has the best location in Cannon Beach! Only a single house sits between your front door and the sandy beach, and just one block separates you from the best galleries, cafes, and boutiques on Hemlock Street. Park your car in the driveway and forget about it, because you can walk to everything.

The two bedroom retreat is bright and clean, but offers plenty of vintage beach-house charm. The kitchen's cheery orange countertops will bring a smile to your face, and you'll find all the cookware, dishes, and dinnerware needed to prepare meals. Sit at the breakfast bar for a casual bite, or gather around the retro dinette set for a full meal or game of cards. The kitchen and dining area overlook the living room, which has plenty of comfy seating before the cable TV for rainy day movie marathons. The kitchen is well stocked, however, it does not have a dishwasher, so be prepared to wash dishes by hand, like in old days...

The house has two bedrooms, one with a full-sized bed and one with a twin. In the living area, the sofa opens into a queen-sized sleeper, making the space comfortable for five guests. There is one full bathroom, as well as a washer/dryer to keep up with wet bathing suits or muddy hiking gear.

Outside, a huge fenced yard makes this house perfect for travelers with kids, and everyone can gather around the picnic table on the front porch on sunny days. When you want to explore the beach, you'll find it just 200 feet away, along a quiet sandy path. Head to Haystack Rock to poke around the tide pools, for an easy walk along the ocean, or simply enjoy a spectacular sunset just steps from your front door.

For livelier recreation, stroll a single block onto Hemlock Street to take in downtown's famous art, shopping, and dining scenes. Hikers and surfers love Cannon Beach's ideal location, nestled between Ecola State Park to the north and Oswald West State Park to the south, surrounding the town with challenging trails, scenic vistas, and hidden coves. And at the end of the day, you can return to the comfort and charm of your own private old-school beach cottage. Life doesn't get much better in Cannon Beach!

Cannon Beach limits us to only one rental every 14 days and we don't want this great house to sit empty. So, during summer 2013, if you stay for one week, we will give you the next seven nights for free! This house is available in two week blocks for the summer, with the following check-in / check-out dates: June 15, June 29, July 13, July 27, August 10, and August 24.
