Wonderful Vacation at Beach Lover's Retreat!

Our host Debbie was a delight! The accomodations were very clean and we found everything we needed for a great vacation. The beach is a very short block away. There is a very nice and clean laundramat only a block away. The screened lanai is huge as is the deck and we enjoyed both very much. We loved Beach Lover's Retreat so much we are going back to spend the months of Feb. and Mar. We have stayed at various condos and homes on Ft. Myers Beach but Beach Lover's Retreat is priced right...always a good thing!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

great time at Beach lover retreat

We had a great time at this rental & the owner Debbie was great as well.
The beach was in walking distance & the area had every thing we needed.
Lots of great places to eat. We went to Lover key beach not far from the rental and that was real nice area as well. We plan to go back to this rental when we can. The price was right.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, pet-friendly, tourists without a car

Loved the Beach Lover's Retreat! The description was very accurate. The location to the beach is wonderful, just a block over,so easy beach access. The rental was very clean. Debbie supplies all you need to go to the beach as far as towels, beach bag, coolers, boogie boards & chairs. She also has bikes for you to ride. It was just my husband & myself so the size was perfect. The pool is not overly big and the best time to get sun while in the pool is early morning to early afternoon, as the house blocks the sun late afternoon. The deck does get sun all day long. The deck boards are in need of repair. The screened in porch area is nice. The house is 3.5 miles to times square & the pier in Ft Myers Beach. There is a trolley that you can take to & from town. I must say that it is incredibly clean at the beach & the town! Debbie was very hands on so if we needed anything she was available. The restaurants in town are good. We were in town during spring break so the only downer was traffic. It could take anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes to get to town depending on what time of day you were going. We would definately recommend Beach Lover's Retreat!!
