WV cabin in Lost River in Lost River

We have a 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin in Lost River, WV. It has Internet and heating (floor units) and air conditioning (one window unit in the kitchen). It's in the heart of gay WV and is a nice mix of local and DC weekenders. One bedroom has a queen size bed; the second bedroom has two twin beds. The living room has an IKEA sofa that folds out to a full/double.

We have owned the cabin for seven years.  We're currently in the process of building an addition (completely separate from this unit, but adjacent) that will be an additional 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  When it is completely, it will also be available for rental.  Ask for details.

The cabin has a landline but there is no cell phone reception.  We have Netflix streaming so you can watch downloaded movies as well as Roku for you to access Hulu Plus and Pandora.

We're roughly 10 miles from Wardensville, WV and roughly 30 miles from Moorefield, WV. Moorefield is a good town for Walmart, lunch, and a movie theatre and bowling alley.

In Lost River (within 5 miles) there is the Lost River Grill.  Lost River State Park is roughly 5 minutes away by car, and depending on the season it provides a nice walking trail around the lake, a playground for kids, and in the summer swimming.

We live in DC and will not be on-site during your stay (unless we're staying on the other side). We'll be accessible via phone (there is a landline here) or iMessages via the iPhone.

This cabin is situated in the George Washington National Forest.  Nearby you'll find swimming, camping and hiking.

The price is $104/night, and there's a $45 cleaning fee per stay.  Additionally, the price is for up to two people; additional people are $10/night extra.
