Vallecito Vacation Home in Durango

Winter, Summer, Spring or Fall ~ Enjoy this tranquil home on one acre overlooking Lake Vallecito near Durango Colorado. Experience evenings in front of the fire and sunny days on the deck of this new and modern home.  Great views of the mountains and wild life from every window in a beautiful and remote setting. Just 20 miles to Durango, 15 miles to Bayfield and 45 miles to Mesa Verde and Pagosa Springs.

Nature and wildlife abound around in this comfortable and welcoming vacation home. A gorgeous great room surrounds a stunning stone fireplace with double sets of French doors leading to a lovely deck (12 x 30) overlooking the San Juan mountains and views of Lake Vallecito. Take a drive to Trimble Springs or Pagosa Springs for a soothing soak in the local hot springs.

A fabulous and modern kitchen is equipped with new appliances and is fully stocked with ample cookware, glassware and silverware plus cooking supplies and paper goods. There are two new super comfortable king size beds on the main floor, one in the master bedroom suite, the second in the guest bedroom. A spacious loft with a queen bed, a comfy queen futon and a full bath is ready for your late night stories.

You will definitely enjoy our home and will be located 20 beautiful miles from Durango.  We keep most staple item in the house so you only need to bring food and drinks, the rest is there including plenty of firewood to burn. 

The house is just 4 years old, very spacious and clean with all the amenities. Two king beds on the first floor and a queen bed, a queen futon and a lovely full bath in the huge loft.  The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and we have a Weber grill if you like to prepare your own meals while on vacation.
 
We have a three flat screen TVs with HD service including movies, Sirius radio, high speed Internet service and unlimited long distance, so your communication needs will be met.  We are near the south end of the lake very handy to Bayfield and you will just love the lake, mountain and valley views.

Enjoy this terrific home for a long weekend or a full week. Guests are expected to honor house rules.
