Vacation Rental Description

Florida vacation rental by owner is a dog friendly two bedroom beach 
side home that has beautiful views of the ocean and you can hear the 
ocean waves at night.. Master bedroom has a king size bed with an 
outside deck with chairs with an ocean view. It also has a garden 
tub, separate shower and a small refrigerator, large tv, vcr, dvd, 
with dvd tapes (most current "Brokeback Mountain" and "Walk The 
Line" then "Shall We Dance") a stereo and a coffee maker upstairs as 
well as downstairs. 
There is a board walk on the lower deck that leads to the ocean 
which is about 60 or so steps to the left. It has two pools (one is
gulf front with wireless connection) and tennis courts, and just a 
short walk to the play ground, this home has so much to offer. 1 
King, trundle and a queen sleeper sofa. It 
has two DVD's and three VCR's with movies It also has  two stereo's, 
3 TV'S, two Grills, (new large cast iron gas grill 
with a side burner and a small electric one). Two Coffeemakers, 
small Washer-Dryer, 3 Decks with chairs and table. Three old fashion 
bikes for you to ride around and to the State Park for a picnic. 
Sleeps 6 with one cot available. Enclosed outside showers for 
privacy. Pet Station and Pet wash area.
It also has current dvd and vcr tapes on premise and magazines. 
Fireplace, cable tv, sheltered parking, dishwasher, disposal, 2 
lighted tennis courts and two pools. Also showers at the boardwalk 
and at both pools...and an enclosed outside shower under the unit!
We have chartered fishing by Congo Charters with Earl Middleton and 
Blue Water Bandit with Captain Blair Morgan ... Book you charter 
early! The fish are out there and you can catch them......
 There are Kayak's and canoe's available from Happy Ours Canoe 
Kayak Rentals for guided Eco-Tours, Fishing and Snorkling 
Trips, Paddling Instructions, New and Used Canoe Sales....

$10/person at Dockside. 
Barrier Dunes is located in The Florida Panhandle on Cape San Blas 
which is 25 miles from Apalachicola Fl and 33.66 miles from 
St.George Island and about fifty miles from Panama City Beach yet 
so far away from the crowds with quiet time on a private Florida 
beach.It has a Cozy fireplace and lots of  Rest, Relaxation and 
peace of mind.

Inside tip: The very best time to find unusual sea shells is right 
after a full moon. Take a ferry to St Vincent Island and find a lot 
of new shells per Kevin from Ky...Take the ferry and when you are 
ready to come back..just put up a flag and the ferry will come get 
you. Lot's of fun..Per Kevin!

You can catch fish at the lighthouse (from Locals) Use shrimp bait!
March through May you can catch Sea trout, red fish, ladyfish, 
Spanish mackeral, blue fish, jack crevalle, flounder, pompano and 
some shark and cobia and in
June through August you can catch Tarpon, tripletail, black drum and 
shark.
Plus Scallops will be in! July through Sept 10th.
Then in August through December you can catch Red fish, mackeral, 
sea trout, flounder,jack crevalle, scallops and shark.
November through March you can catch Striped Bass, sheephead, trout 
and red fish.

 Cape San Blas Florida is located next to St Joseph State Park which 
is over 2,000 acres of natural wildlife to explore with hiking and 
bike trails. 33 miles from St George's Island and Apalachicola and 
30 miles from Mexico Beach Fl. Panama City Beach Fl is 48 miles.
Barrier Dunes has two pools with wirless internet and 2 lighted tennis courts, fishing
ponds,Bicycle trails, boat and horse rentals available nearby. 
Barrier Dunes is situated directly on the Gulf of Mexico in the 
one "undiscovered" section of the Panhandle of Florida. The St 
Joseph Peninsula lies in a north-south position, which provides you, 
at Barrier Dunes, with an uninterrupted sunset view to the west.

There are fishing guides available at Indian Pass and a marina in 
Port St Joe (about 25 miles)on scenic Highway 98. There are kayaks 
and canoes for rent at "Happy Ours" to see beautiful St.Vincent 
Wildlife Preserve or Black's Island. The Scallop Cove BP has 
everything from boat rentals, bike rentals to milk, gas, bait and is 
a mini Wal-Mart.

fishing and tackle supply stores in the area and obey the mandated 
limits of 10 gallons of whole scallops (in the shell) or 1/2 gallon 
of scallop meat in any vessel, so there will be some for everyone! 
Scallop season lasts from July 1 through September 10, so make your
