finding your own dinner of fresh scallops. Take them straight from
the water to the kitchen, something you can do only in Gulf County.
Make sure you have a fishing license which can be purchased at most
fishing and tackle supply stores in the area and obey the mandated
limits of 10 gallons of whole scallops (in the shell) or 1/2 gallon
of scallop meat in any vessel, so there will be some for everyone!
Scallop season lasts from July 1 through September 10, so make your
plans to hit the water today.

Loved the Secluded Beaches~! No Rushing Anywhere!

Review submitted: December 16, 2013   Date of arrival: November 23, 2013

Thoughts to Share was that we loved the secluded beaches~~ no rushing anywhere! The few people we met on the beach were so very friendly. Felt like we belonged though we had never been down before!

The great restaurants we discovered was Killers in Mexico Beach, Boss Oysters in Apalachicola and the Indian Pass Raw Bar was very good. They all had great fresh seafood!

Also, we loved walking the beach! Todd and Lisa
