Vacation Rental Description

on your morning walk.

As the lava flowed down the volcano, it created pockets now filled 
with sea water which dot the coastline and created the pond at 
Shangrila. Just six feet from the Dining Room, the warm pond awaits 
filled daily with seawater as the tides rise and fall - light the 
Tiki Torches and enjoy your own Mini Resort with covered dining 
under the palm trees.

Activities and Attractions

Located in a Marine Preserve - A palm tree lined walk 3 mins. to 
snorkel with fish, eagle rays, eels, turtles and magnificent coral 
formations. Shallow areas for beginner snorkelers. Easy to see fish. 
Protected reef - no waves - explore the tidepools for tiny sea 
creatures like crabs and small baby fish. Nearby learn about and 
hike the vast Kilauea Volcano - watch the lava flow down to the sea 
creating new land each day, see where the lava crossed the road and 
covered the "Stop" sign, feel the steamy mist spouting from the 
volcano vents, sit in a steam cave formed by a vent from the 
volcano, lots of tropical birds make their home here.

Vacation Rental Rates

Nightly rate: $195/night for 2 people - 2 night minimum. 
Weekly rate:  $175/night for 2 people - 7 night minimum. 
Each additional guest: $15/person/night up to 8 guests. 
E-mail us for more than 8 guests.
Plus one time departure cleaning fee and 11.41% Hawaii Excise & 
Accommodation Tax 
$500 Security Deposit required to confirm, refundable within 2 weeks 
after departure.  Full Payment due 60 days before arrival (90 days 
for Major Holidays).
Major Holidays and Merrie Monarch Week have higher rates and longer 
minimum stays.
